The prophecy of the Ages

This truth is introduced by Jesus
(John 14:3), detailed by Paul (I Cor. 15:51-53; I Thess. 4:13-18),
and concluded by John (Rev. 4:1-2). From that point, the
Scriptures no longer refer to the Church on earth until
Revelation chapter 19 (when the Church returns to
earth for the 1,000-year reign of our Lord).
Never has a Christian generation been nearer to
Christ’s appearing than ours. Here is why:
Over 1900 years ago, Jesus prophesied the rebirth of
Israel. Matthew, Mark and Luke all record His prophecy.
I generally refer to the apostle Luke (Luke 21:28-31). There
Jesus prophesies the “budding of the fig tree” and all
the trees. The fig tree is the biblical symbol of Israel as
established by Jeremiah chapter 24 and confirmed by
Hosea 9:10 and Joel 2:22.
Consider this helpful fact: Since the fig tree represents
Israel, all the other trees must also represent a nation
(not an oak, pine or spruce). Therefore, Jesus prophesied that at the same time the restoration of Israel would
get underway, many other nations would also begin to
fulfill prophecies of the Scripture.
With the re-birth of Israel on May 15, 1948, the gates
opened for prophecies to begin fulfillment. Nation after
nation has become involved. Today, the activities of the

nations of Europe, Russia, the Mid-East, the Far East, and
parts of Africa and the Western Hemisphere, are fulfilling prophecies as never before.
As a matter of fact, we are now living in Bible days
that are greater than any previous time. Although the
prophecies fulfilled at the time of the virgin birth, death
and resurrection of our Lord, as well as the outpouring
of the Holy Spirit, are foundational for all future prophecies, they were not as numerous as the fulfillments
today.
We must also stay in remembrance of other prophecies of Jesus. For instance, Luke 17:26-30 provides us
with His prophecy based on the days prior to the Flood
and the destruction of Sodom. It is evident, at that time,
the economy was strong and socializing was the order
of the day. The people were caught up in the activities
of the flesh and cares of life. Both groups of people were
caught completely unprepared for the Flood and the
instant destruction of Sodom.
Presently, the world’s economy is acting quite
strangely. We are in a global recession, yet the overall economy has strength. We know the economy will
not crash because of the prophetic Word of our Lord.
As the prophecies of Jesus enter the process of fulfillment, we know the season of His appearing is upon us.
True, we do not know the day and hour of His appearing.
Jesus’ statements in Matthew 24:36 and Mark 13:32-33
establish that no one knows the time of His appearing.
I have heard and read through the years, opposition to
His statement. It is strange that, on occasion, Christians
have difficulty accepting God’s Word for what it says.
They simply do not know why they do not believe the
Scriptures. Sometimes it is a lack of understanding, and
at other times it is outright unbelief. How anyone could

“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all

misunderstand Matthew 24:36 or Mark 13:32-33 is difficult to comprehend.
Jesus said He would come again to receive us to
Himself (John 14:3) and give us truthful clues as to His
return through His prophecies. He states that when His
prophecies begin to be fulfilled, beginning with the
rebirth of Israel (this happened in 1948), we should be
looking up (Luke 21:28).
Hebrews 9:28 provides wonderful insight: “So Christ
was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them
that look for him shall he appear the second time without
sin unto salvation.”
Here the same word “look” is used by Jesus in Luke
21:28 and by Paul in Titus 2:13. Its meaning in the Greek
is to “eagerly anticipate the event, with joyous preparation.”
The very thought of the “appearing of Jesus” to catch
away the righteous should bring a wave of joy. These
truths of His appearing should also motivate us toward
every method of soul winning. Truly we do not want
anyone left behind. However, step number one is to
be doing one’s best to please the Lord and look for His
appearing.
Notice that Hebrews 9:28, referenced above, has
two parts. First, Paul writes concerning Jesus coming
to handle the sins of mankind. Second, he directs our
thoughts to look for Him who has brought Salvation.
It is really not asking too much of any Christian to live
a holy and righteous life while awaiting His appearing. Actually, living a daily Christian lifestyle is the best
there is; it does not get any better.
In order to succeed daily as a Christian, we have a
wonderful helper: God, the Holy Spirit. Our Father and
Jesus knew we would need help so they sent the Holy
Spirit. He is the third person of the triune Godhead.
Jesus prophesied the coming of the Holy Spirit in John
chapters 14 and 16. I thank God daily for the Holy Spirit
and cannot do without Him. He is our source of power,
teacher, guide, advocate and standby. He is here, ready,
and more than capable to put us over any circumstance
or problem. I depend upon Him daily and He has never
failed me. I am sure you share my testimony. If not, you
can. God does not love one more than another.
I admonish you to prepare for Jesus’ glorious appearing. As the Scriptures state, we do not know when He
will appear, or how much time we have; however, we
do know this: The signs of His appearing are all around
us and increasing.
From my years of studying Bible prophecies, there is
still one part of the end-time picture yet to come into
focus. Recall, Jesus stated He would build HIS CHURCH
and the gates of hell would not prevail against it (Matt.
16:18). This finished church is the “glorious church” about
which Paul writes in Ephesians 5:27.
Unless the Holy Spirit directs me otherwise, this is
where I will begin next month’s letter. Until then,

Principles of Bible
N
ow that Israel is being restored, as prophesied by the
Old Testament prophets and Jesus, there are several
principles of biblical prophecy I need to share with you.
PRINCIPLE ONE: We must accept the seventeen prophetic
books, and prophetic statements, equally with our most
favorite chapters and verses.
Paul wrote to Timothy and stated, “All Scripture is given
by inspiration of God” (II Tim. 3:16). What a profound statement? Every Word from Genesis 1:1 through Revelation 22:21
are equally inspired and profitable. I know most Christians have
favorite parts of the Bible and that is okay. However, no one can
build a mature Christian life on just their favorite verse, chapter
or book. Of course, you know my favorite book is Revelation,
but I grow spiritual partaking of the whole Word of God.
When God spoke and Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel recorded,
“God would re-gather the Jewish people and restore the land,”
it was just as inspired as the wonderful words of John 3:16.
The remainder of Second Timothy 3:16 reveals the
categories of profitability of the inspired Scripture, which
includes the prophetic books and statements.
The doctrine of the Rapture of the righteous, including
the resurrection, is firmly established within the prophetic
books and by Paul in his Epistles. The seven years of Tribulation, which follows the catching away, is laid out in the books
of Daniel and Revelation. The 1000-year reign of our Lord
Jesus is introduced in Revelation chapter 20 and detailed by
the prophet Isaiah. THANK GOD the prophetic Word of God
is inspired, true and accurate.
PRINCIPLE TWO: The prophecies of Scripture cannot fail.
The prophetic books and individual prophecies of our
Father, Jesus, Paul, Peter, James and John make up approximately thirty percent of the Bible. Because of this, they are
certain to come to pass as prophesied.
We know God’s Word cannot fail. God watches over His
Word and performs it with absolute accuracy. Ezekiel chapter 36 is a sterling example of God making it very clear that
He is obligated to His Word for His namesake. You and I can
be certain that the prophesied events of the Bible will come
4
to pass and will not fail.
This truth provides you and me with insight to the future.
If you wish to know the future, then go to the prophecies
of Holy Scriptures. Do not be impatient with your understanding. Prayerfully rely on the Holy Spirit; study and the
prophetic picture will come into view in a way that is understandable. The composite prophetic picture did not come to
me all at once, but as I continually prayed and studied. Therefore, God has assigned me to teach and preach “prophecy” as
faith, hope and love; not doom, gloom and fear.
It is a blessing for me to share with you through this
monthly publication. I promise to do my best to keep you
abreast of prophetic events and their fulfillment as we draw
close to the momentous Rapture.
PRINCIPLE THREE: Once a prophesied event enters the
process of fulfillment, it cannot be stopped.
There is a process of fulfillment. During the process, God
may speed up or slow down the event in order to keep everything on His timetable. We have seen this happen several times
during the sixty-two years of Israel’s ongoing restoration.
In fact, history records the beginning of the process for
Israel’s restoration around the year 1900 when a Jewish attorney and author, named Theodor Herzl, visited the land of his
fathers. It was during his visit to Jerusalem that Mr. Herzl
envisioned, once again, a nation for his people. Following his
trip, Mr. Herzl returned to Europe and founded the Zionist
movement, which was created to raise money to purchase
Jewish land back from the Arabs.
In 1917, Lord Balfour, of British Parliament, succeeded in
getting Parliament to partition land in “Palestine” and offer it
to the Jewish people as their home. The Balfour Agreement
was ratified by the League of Nations in 1922. However, it
was not until after World War II, and the horrors of the Holocaust, that God’s original chosen people went back to the
land of Israel. So you see, not only did God prophesy their
return, but also arranged for it to be legal.
Miracle after miracle has been performed since 1948 in
order for the process of Israel’s fulfillment to continue. Satan
certainly tried to circumvent the fulfillment, but has failed
Prophecy
at every attempt. Think about this: On the day Israel’s new
government began, May 15, 1948, the combined Arab world
declared war on Israel. Israel had no army, while the Arabs
had been trained and equipped by Britain and France. Who
won the 1948 war of Independence? Israel, of course! Why?
Because the process of fulfillment of Bible prophecy had
begun, and nothing can stop it.
Today, Israel is in her 63rd year of prophetic restoration
and is stronger than ever. Even the Spirit-filled Church once
again exists among the Israeli. The Church is back where it
began over 1900 years ago.
The God-ordered process of fulfillment is continuing and
will not be stopped. Studying and knowing the prophecies of
the Scripture is like having the best seat in a concert hall or
at a major sporting event. You get to watch God perform His
Word. It is wonderful!
PRINCIPLE FOUR: As a prophetic event continues the
process of fulfillment, it will trigger another prophesied
event to enter the process, thus adding additional insight
and understanding.
For instance, since 1948, we have watched the collapse of
the Soviet Union and subsequent restoration of Russia. Russia
had to be restored in order that Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39
could be accurately fulfilled. Since then, we have observed
the awakening of China and the Orient in order to fulfill
their role described in Revelation chapter nine, which occurs
during the Tribulation. Now we are watching closely the Arab
nations listed in Ezekiel 38:5-6 becoming more closely associated with Russia. Thus, the process continues.
Prophecy in Progress
PRINCIPLE FIVE: Do not speculate!
The prophecies written in God’s Word are not complicated. One simply has to observe world affairs and study
the prophecies; always allowing them to be viewed through
God’s plan and not based on what someone thinks.
Speculation always reveals what is not known about the
subject under consideration. So, I study with the Holy Spirit
and then share my findings with all who permit me.
PRINCIPLE SIX: The accurate fulfillment of Bible Prophecy is
God adding His signature to His Word.
PRINCIPLE SEVEN: When the interpretation of prophetic
Scripture by godly men of yesteryear proves false, realize
they were not living in the time of Israel’s restoration.
We have the interpretation of prophetic Scriptures from
many godly men of yesterday. Occasionally, we find them
mistaken. WHY? Because they did not have the advantage of
living in the time of Israel’s restoration. I am thankful for my
teachers. We also used textbooks often written two or three
decades before 1948. Thank God for the Holy Spirit.
PRINCIPLE EIGHT: The prophecies found in the Epistles of
Paul, James, Peter and John describe the “glorious” endtime Church prior to the Rapture.
I pray these principles have been helpful to you in your
study of the Word.

Unity Is The Key
by Pastor William Luffman
The world we live in today seems to be increasingly divisive. Even
God’s people seem to be unable to sustain relationships; especially when there is a conflict involved. But the Church, the Body
of Christ, will not become the glorious Church of Ephesians 5:27
until we make “unity” our priority.
Unity is the key to the Christian faith. In Romans 15:5-7, Paul
exhorts the believers in this manner: “Now the God of patience and
consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: that ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify
God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Wherefore receive ye
one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.”
The word “likeminded” comes from the Greek word “phroneo.”
It means “to cherish the same views, to side with, to take up the
cause of another, to become one mouth, to bind together, and to
come into agreement over a matter.”
Most people believe that being in unity means to be in total
agreement about everything; however, in reality, Bible unity
means being bound together by a common cause. This suggests
that although you may have a differing opinion about something,
the cause becomes greater than any personal disagreement! It
does not imply we must have the same opinions about everything for unity to exist.
You may have differing views concerning a particular situation or problem, but the preaching and spreading of God’s Word
should have preeminence and, thus, be more important than
any disagreement you may have with another brother or sister in
Christ. In other words, we should be able to sustain our relationships with each other, even if we cannot always see eye-to-eye
about everything. If you are married, you know what I am talking
about!
Perhaps the saddest aspect of this is witnessing the world’s
ability to put aside their differences, on occasion, for a greater
good more often than the Body of Christ. Frequently, various
charitable events attract Hollywood stars, entertainers, athletes
and politicians who have disagreed with each other publicly, yet
they find a way to put aside their differences for a good cause.
God’s people, who have encountered His mercy and grace, should
be much more known for this ability than they.
There are even greater reasons for us, as believers, to find a way
to remain in unity with one another. In First Samuel 22:23 we find
6
Dr. Hilton & Susan Sutton,
Pastors Ginger & William Luffman
these words: “Abide thou with me [be united with me], fear not: for
he that seeketh my life seeketh thy life: but with me thou shalt be in
safeguard.” These words were written by David, to Abiathar, after
receiving word that Saul was on a mission to slaughter all who
were associated with him. David assured Abiathar he would be
safe as long as he stayed with him. The word “safeguard” David
chose in this instance really strikes a nerve with me. We should
be a place of safety for our brothers and sisters in Christ; and be
someone with whom they feel safe! Furthermore, the provision of
protection increases when we remain united.
Finally, we see this truth in its most powerful measure in Psalms
133:1-3: “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to
dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the
head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went
down to the skirts of his garments; as the dew of Hermon, and as the
dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord
commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.”
The words “together” and “unity” are the same Hebrew word.
It literally means: “How beautiful it is when God’s people dwell
together, together!” This means not merely being in the same
room, but being in the same room in agreement! This releases
God’s anointing that comes from the head (Christ) and flows to
every member of His body (us) to the whole body, destroying the
works of darkness over His people. Finally then, will we experience
the great anointing.
There can be no greater time in prophetic history than now for
God’s people to unite in our sole mission to reach the unsaved for
Jesus Christ! Let’s find a way to get into agreement and lay aside
any personal differences we may have. His return is on the horizon!
The Chosen
will Storm the Gates of Hell
By Dwayne Byerly
Greetings in the name of our Lord
Jesus who has chosen us in Him
before the foundation of the world:
“He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be
holy and without blame before Him
in love” (Eph. 1:4).
Paul lets us know we were chosen, or picked, out of a
world of darkness by the Creator of all things. Think about
that. We have been chosen, but for what cause?
We have been chosen to proclaim the Word of God to
a people bound by the fear of death, the curse (Heb. 2:15).
This proclamation of the Gospel is not just for the apostle,
prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher. It has been given to
all of us who have received the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
The five-fold ministry gifts have been given to equip
us for good works by spreading the Gospel. We should be
taking action in our everyday lives to spread the Gospel
and the kingdom of God.
Jesus states: “I will build my church; and the gates of hell
shall not prevail against it” (Matt. 16:18).
Satan and his bunch have one sure stronghold – HELL!
If there is one thing the Devil knows, it is that hell is for
him. Satan deceives many people into operating, and
being bound, by the decrees of hell; however, the Church
prevails over the gates of hell – Jesus said so.
Gates are stationary and do not move. When we speak
the Word of God in faith, we cause the Devil and his demon
cohorts to retreat behind hell’s gates. It is then we should
continue our advancement and bombard those gates with
the Word of God to set people free. This is our assignment
as blood-bought servants of God and why we are chosen.
Jesus is coming soon! We know we are in the season of His
appearing. Being about the Father’s business is more important now than ever. Do not be among those Christians who
are not.
Jesus warns us: “But if that evil servant says in his heart,
‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat his
fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the
master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut
him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites.
There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matt. 24:48-51).
We want to be like the servant described by Jesus in the
verses preceding the evil servant description:
“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master
made ruler over his household, to give them food in due
season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he
comes, will find so doing” (Matt. 24:45-46).
The blessed servant was found doing the assignment he was given when his Lord returned.
We are about our assignment at Hilton Sutton World
Ministries. If you would like to get shoulder to shoulder

Priorities for the Last Days
By Ron Jutze
When you know the end, or climax,
of something that is about to occur,
it usually warrants instructions to
prepare for its coming. For instance,
a football coach gives instructions to
his team when the game nears the end and the two-minute
warning is received. A teacher gives instructions to students
in order to prepare for finals at the close of a semester. God
did the same in Noah’s day: “The end of all flesh has come
before Me . . . make yourself an ark” (Gen. 6:13-14). The building
of the Ark was God’s instruction to Noah in order to properly
prepare for what was coming on the earth.
The New Testament reveals something similar today for
God’s people. This generation is witnessing prophetic Scriptures being fulfilled right before us. The transformation of
the land of Israel (Isa. 35:1-2; Ezek. 36:6-12) and the rebirth of the
nation of Israel (Jer. 16:14-15; 23:7-8; Amos 9:13-15) are two key
prophetic fulfillments in less than one hundred years.
The stage is being set for the appearing of Jesus. Knowing
this glorious prophetic event is at hand and that we are living
in the “last days,” God has certain instructions for end-time
believers found in First Peter 4:7-11. These Scriptures begin
with: “The end of all things are at hand: therefore . . .” It follows
with vital information needed for believers to maintain focus
on their end-time assignments. We will examine three of
these instructions more closely:
1. Be Serious and Watchful in Prayer (I Pet. 4:7). Prayer
is an integral part of my fellowship with God and service in His
kingdom. As a believer, I have the right to access the throne of
grace because of the blood of Jesus (Heb. 4:16; 10:19-22).
The practice of prayer allows me the opportunity to draw
near to God, become more sensitive to His heart, and receive
the strength needed to follow Him and advance His cause
in the earth. It is in this place that God’s grace gives me the
strength to overcome carnal weaknesses, resist temptations
and surrender to His will (Jesus shows us this example in Mark
14:32-38); I can also make intercession for God’s intervention
in the lives of others (Isa. 62:6-7; Ezek. 22:29-30; Col. 4:12).
The strategy of our enemy, the Devil, is to cause busyness to
replace prayer in the life of the believer and the Church. This
promotes activity, but not necessarily productivity. The real
issue at hand is divine power. Prayer taps into the power of
God instead of just relying on human might. Has prayer taken
a backseat to other activities in your life?
Knowing we are in the season of Christ’s appearing, it is
time to make prayer a priority in our personal lives and in the
culture of our churches.
2. Have Fervent Love Toward One Another. “And
above all things have fervent love for one another, for ‘love will
cover a multitude of sins’” (I Pet.4:8). Fervent love is an integral part of my relationship with fellow believers. The word
“fervent” means to burn or boil intently. The love being
referred to here is agape love, the God-kind of love.
This love is characteristic of the quality of love God expresses
toward Jesus (John 17:26) and the human race (John 3:16). It is also
the love that is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit
(Rom. 5:5). This kind of love is not complacent, but proactive; it
is not based on affection, but the intentional choice to seek

Laying the Foundation
by Ron Jutze (BB001 - Book $20.00)
In this teaching, Ron shares 14 lessons designed to lay a solid foundation of Jesus Christ and His Word
in the life of a believer. It is a great tool to assist in building and developing faith. See page 10 to order.
the welfare of another. This kind of love forgives the offender
and seeks restoration (II Cor. 2:4-11; John 8); like Christ did for us.
Jesus said that in the last days the love of many would grow
cold (Matt. 24:10-12). By this, Jesus is speaking about the agape
love that is found in the Church, the believing community, not
the world.
The strategy of our enemy is to sow discord among the
brethren and create relational breeches among believers.
Why? In order to hinder the work and witness of Christ. The
primary hindrance to believers working together in ministry
today is OFFENSE. Brethren, this ought not to be. The biblical
antidote to overcome offense and unforgiveness is the fervent
love that is within us. When it is proactively expressed toward
one another, Jesus said it would be a witness to the world that
we are truly His disciples.
“Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each
other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you
are my disciples” (John 13:34-35, NLT).
Knowing we are in the season of Christ’s appearing, it is time
to make fervent love toward one another a priority.
you have received from God? Are you using your gift to serve
others and build up the Church to assist in accomplishing its
Christ-centered mission?
The strategy of our enemy is to hinder you through ignorance or distract you with busyness from using the gift God
gave you. God has freely given you a spiritual gift of grace to
be used in advancing the kingdom of God in the earth. Have
you ever considered what happens to the work of Christ when
a believer buries or refuses to use their God-given gift to
advance the cause of Christ? Is there something you know that
you should be doing to serve Christ that you are not doing?
“And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive
from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God” (Rom. 6:13).
Knowing we are in the season of Christ’s appearing, it is time
to make serving others with our gifts a priority.
3. Use Your Gift to Serve Others. “As each one has received
a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (I Pet. 4:10). Using your “gift” to serve others
is an integral part of serving Christ’s mission. Every believer
has been given a spiritual gift by God. The word “gift” comes
from the Greek word “charisma,” which means a divine gratuity, spiritual endowment or gift of grace.
The gifts we receive from God are a distribution of His grace.
They are given for the purpose of serving others and building
up the Church. Are you a good steward of the gift of grace
