URGENT RESPONSE NEEDED!
So far we have only had a handful of responses to
the Disco Duck sessions. Miss Lynda will be running
these starting on Wednesday 10th May and then 24th
May, 7th, 21st June and 5th July for the pre-school
children only, until the end of term for the
discounted cost of £2 per session.
If your child attends on a Wednesday, please send
£10 in an envelope clearly marked with your child’s
name. If your child does not attend on a Wednesday
and would like to take part, please speak to Louise.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the taster session,
do please support if you can.

BUG CONTROL!!
Now for our termly nag about handwashing. With young children in close proximity,
there will inevitably be an exchange of bugs and germs. Staff regularly remind your
children of a very simple, but thorough hand washing routine that can make an
enormous difference in preventing the spread of all sorts of nasty infections and
illness. Please reinforce this routine at home with your child and never believe them
when they say they have done it – always check!! Thank you for your support.
• Make your hands wet
• Make your hands soapy
• Wash away the bubbles
• Dry your hands thoroughly
Thank You
Venita and Tricia for volunteering this week. They have helped Bernie plant some of the
Sunflowers and have dug a bed ready for planting next week. Anyone like to come and
help?
Afternoon Children
You should have all received your applications to apply for sessions for September. If
you have not please let me know or if you have any questions.
Why Not Try This At Home?
Have you looked at the Plan? Do you the rhyme of the week? Do you know all the words?
“Mary, Mary quite contrary. How does your garden grow? With silver bells and cockle
shells and pretty maids all in a row.”
