So far we have only had a handful of responses to the Disco Duck sessions. Miss Lynda will be running these starting on Wednesday 10th May and then 24th May, 7th, 21st June and 5th July for the pre-school children only, until the end of term for the discounted cost of £2 per session. If your child attends on a Wednesday, please send £10 in an envelope clearly marked with your child’s name. If your child does not attend on a Wednesday and would like to take part, please speak to Louise. The children thoroughly enjoyed the taster session, do please support if you can. SHINING STAR A number of children have been bringing toys in for their ‘Shining Star’ talk when it isn’t actually their day! Now for our termly nag about handwashing. With young children in close proximity, there will inevitably be an exchange of bugs and germs. Staff regularly remind your children of a very simple, but thorough hand washing routine that can make an enormous difference in preventing the spread of all sorts of nasty infections and illness. Please reinforce this routine at home with your child and never believe them when they say they have done it – always check!!
