A Family Fun Ride will also take place on portions of the same course, with a keen focus on bicycle safety and community involvement. Community oriented, the goal of WWCGP is to provide a safe and challenging experience for the fastest growing section of the sport of bicycle racing. NOTE: Masters will only be eligible for one prize (e.g. 3rd in Pro 1/2/3 field or 1st in Master’s field). START/FINISH is on Rock City Rd. in the town of Woodstock, NY. NEUTRAL START 3.9 miles. QUEEN OF THE MOUNTAIN: Prize in all fields at the top of Mead’s Mountain Road (Pro 1/2/3, Masters 40+, Masters 50+, Cat 3/4). Pro 1/2/3 QOM also includes the epic Seven Sisters Climb on Ohayo Mountain Road, Glenford, NY. SPECIAL PRIZE FOR TOP U23 RIDER IN PRO 1/2/3 RACE. USAC RULES APPLY: YELLOW LINE RULE IN EFFECT. Helmets are required at all times and jerseys must have sleeves (no tank-tops or vests) including Family Fun Ride. Races may be combined or cancelled if field minimums are not met. RACE COURSE INFO: Surface is rough in places. Gradients vary from 8% to 19%. Recommended gearing 34 x 28. Per USA Cycling Rules, rider is responsible to know the course.
