***Tip of the Week - April 7th is World Health Day. The theme this year is “Food Safety:
from farm to plate, make food safe.” There are more than 200 foodborne diseases,
some of which have long term health consequences. Pay attention to food labels, and
cooking instructions to make sure food is being prepared properly.
*** No School – Reminder there is no school next Friday April 8th, due to a teacher work day.
*** Report cards – Report cards will be sent home on Thursday April 14th. Please sign the
envelope and return the bottom portion ONLY of the report card, along with the signed
volunteer form. Please join us that evening for Parent night about Yoga and PE!
***Math Test- We will be taking our Chapter 8 math test on Measurement and Time, next
Wednesday, April 6th. Please review time on digital and analog clocks as well as, the vocabulary
terms with your child this weekend. They include, but are not limited to: length, long, loger,
longest, measure, short, shorter, shortest and unit.
*** School Days – What is our word of the week? (Confidence) What activities did we do
instead of yoga? What story did you read with Ms. Casey? What was your ‘Fun Friday’ activity?
