Dear Gena Accessories Customer:
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Gena
Accessories of New York, NY, is recalling women’s sheer 100% hand-rolled silk chiffon scarves
(please see image below). They were sold in sixteen different colors including: black, brown,
burgundy, camel, fuchsia, green, grey, lavender, light blue, light green, light pink, orange, red,
turquoise, white, and yellow. The scarves measure 64 inches long by 18 inches wide. These
scarves fail to meet the federal flammability standards for wearing apparel under the Flammable
Fabrics Act, posing a risk of burn injury to consumers.
In the years of 2007-2015 you may have purchased this scarf in various colors from us.
If you have any in stock, please return them for a refund or credit, whichever you prefer.
Please help us communicate recall information to consumers by displaying the enclosed
recall poster in your retail location for 120 days. This is important since CPSC mandate requires
retailers to display an 8x11 recall poster for 120 days.
