Choose one of your many talents (lip-syncing will not be showcased during our performance). 2. Complete the registration form and have your parent/guardian sign the permission slip turn it in by Friday, March 30th! 3. Show us what you’ve got on Wednesday, April 11th after school. 6. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, get your costume and props ready, PRACTICE 7. Let us see what you’ve got AGAIN at Wednesday, April 18th after school. 8. PRACTICE, double check your costume and props, smile-because this is going to be F-U-N! 9. Let’s get down to Serious Business Dress Rehearsal at Scott High School on Wednesday, April 25th after school. 10.Time for Ft. Wright’s Got Talent! See you at Scott High School April 27th at 5:00 pm to get ready for our rockin’ talent show! Very Important Dates to put on your calendar: Friday, March 30th: all registration and permissions slips must be submitted Wednesday, April 11th , 3:45-5:00pm: Show us what you’ve got rehearsal. Have your talent rehearsed and ready (music must be ready, but costume and props are not necessary for this rehearsal). To be eligible to perform in the BIG show, you must have a rehearsed performance ready by this day. Wednesday, April 18th, 3:45-5:00pm: Dress Rehearsal at Ft. Wright Elementary. You should be ready for opening night for this rehearsal. Costume and/or props need to be ready by this day. They must be seen for approval. Wednesday, April 25th, 3:45-7:00pm: Serious Business Dress Rehearsal (Scott High School Auditorium). You should be ready for opening night for this rehearsal. Costume and/or props need to be ready by this day. Friday, April 27th, 5:00pm-8:30pm: OPENING NIGHT...break a leg! No, really, be safe, but HAVE FUN! Do you want to be like Ryan Seacrest? This is a very important job! You will be the one introducing the performers as they come on the stage. If you think you’d like to audition for this job, rehearse the script below and come prepared to the April 11th Show Us What You’ve Got rehearsal. Auditions will be held at the start of rehearsal. You will be free to leave after your audition. A decision will be announced on April 13th. M.C. Audition: MC: Welcome, ladies and gentleman to the first annual Fort Wright Elementary Really Big Show! I am your host (insert name). With so much talent at Fort Wright Elementary, we found it impossible to keep it all to ourselves. We are glad to have you here tonight and I know you’re going to be impressed.
