Connection
The binding bucket clamp provides a non-sliding connection to the bucket, eliminating chains, clevises, and
loose ratchet binders, and can be secured quickly and easily.
Coupler
The flexible poly coupler absorbs and reduces vibrations back to the cab. The coupler also allows the chassis to conform to surface irregularities and allows for impact movement if obstructions are encountered.
Users can also switch connection types easily as the Savik coupler is bolt-on.

Chassis
The robust chassis has been designed to provide superior pushing strength and can operate without any
speed restrictions or stacking limitations that are sometimes found in other steel edge containment plows.
Sideplates and Wear Shoes
Each sideplate has a clearance of nine inches minimizing damage to curbs and the plow. Rubber curtains
are used to contain the snow. The sideplates are bolt on for easy replacement and can also be removed if
side discharged is required. The Savik’s wear shoes are hardened, abrasion resistant steel. The wear shoes
pin-on design makes replacement easy.
Cutting Edge
The 24” cutting edge sections incorporate a dual edge design, which provides for aggressive scraping. The
cutting edge’s poly hinge provides for a smooth tripping experience, while also allowing for controlled down
pressure enabling maximum scraping capability and optimal surface outcome. The poly hinge also allows
the cutting edge to extend downward to clear snow from surface irregularities.
Wireless
The in-cab plow sensor delivers real-time feedback to the operator, providing guidance on cutting edge down
pressure and plow position. The sensor is an additional option for the Savik Plow and not required to operate
the unit.
