Come Rejoice, Be Glad, and Worship The King
In
921 W. Main Street – Whitewater, WI 53190
The Spirit of the Lord awaits you . . .
. . . and we rejoice in the God of our Salvation who has led you to come to His
special place of refreshing, renewal, and revival: The Sanctuary. We hope that you
will make and keep your appointment, and we believe that you will be blessed by
your stay in The Sanctuary when you come.
The Spirit of the Lord says “Come . . .”
The Sanctuary is a place where God resides and where men and women come for
rest, restoration, healing, and deliverance. It is a place where you meet the Risen
Savior and receive directions for a new beginning. To make sure that you get the
most out of your stay, please read the following information carefully and prepare
your heart, mind, body, and soul to meet the Lord.
We want you to be blessed of the Lord while you are in the Sanctuary and be a
blessing to the Sanctuary. To ensure that this two-way blessing will flow, guest
are asked to please read and abide by the following guidelines established by God
for every one who comes into the Sanctuary.
2
Preparation for Blessing
Prepare yourself spiritually, physically, mentally, and financially to come meet
the Lord, and take the suggestion God gave to Moses to tell the people; it is
written:
“And the Lord said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and
sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their
clothes,
“And be ready against the third day: for the third day the Lord
will come down in the sight of all the people upon Mount
Sinai.” Exodus 19:10-11
Spiritual Preparation:
Seek the Lord’s face and prepare to meet Him. Consecrate yourself to the Lord.
Be prepared to pray and fast in some way before you come and/or while you are
in The Sanctuary. Tell the Lord what you desire and what you are willing to do to
obtain His perfect will. Do whatever He leads you to do.
Physical Preparation before coming and/or while in The Sanctuary:
You want your body to be renewed also. If you cannot fast, eat light. Eat as much
natural foods as possible such as fresh fruits and vegetables. If you need physical
and/or inner healing, seek, the Lord for physical and/or inner healing by getting
His mind on your condition and what is required for your healing.
Mental Preparation:
Prepare yourself mentally to meet the Lord by letting your mind rest. Rest on the
Lord. Prepare to be quiet, to spend consecrated time alone with God. Be prepared
to put aside all mental work and mental concern.
Financial Preparation:
Ask the Lord for what you should give as a donation to the Sanctuary Ministry
and be prepared to give a free-will offering for the ministry and/or ministers of
The Sanctuary.
Know that we also have an excellent Christian Book Store and you will be blessed
and bless our work by purchasing some good books. The book written for the
room in which you will stay is available for sale in our book store. You will want
to purchase that book so that you will study it when you return home in order to
keep what you receive in The Sanctuary.
Ministry in and of The Sanctuary:
When you come into The Sanctuary, know that you are coming into the House of
the Lord. Remove your outdoor shoes while in The Sanctuary and wear Sanctuary
footwear which is available for your use while you are here. Although we prefer
3
Sanctuary footwear while here, you may use your own indoor house slippers if
you desire.
You will receive deep ministry in your room as you enter into the ministry of the
room. We do not promise personal attention; however, as time permits we will
have deep and powerful prayer/body healing meetings daily. This is not a
commitment on our part, and these meetings are held only as the Lord allows.
If you come with a group, know that you will have a time of fellowship, but be
prepared not to spend a lot of time talking and visiting with one another –
especially in rooms. You can do that after your Sanctuary experience.
If space is available, we will separate husband and wife so that each can seek the
Lord and receive from God. You will have time to come together for sharing in
the Sanctuary, but not for sex. Since husband and wife are both here to meet the
Lord and not to indulge the flesh, sex is not allowed in the Sanctuary. You
will have time for sex when you leave the Sanctuary. Remember Moses’ words to
the children of Israel when they prepared to meet God . . . “And he said unto
the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.”
Exodus 19:15
Eating Arrangements:
Ideally, one should plan to fast during your stay at the Sanctuary. However,
several eating establishments are located within a few blocks of the Sanctuary. If
you plan to eat, we ask that you plan to go out for meals.
Please do not bring any food or drink in the Sanctuary. We shall provide good
drinking water and herbal tea. We also have some light sodas for sale.
Book and Tape Ministry in the Sanctuary:
Many excellent Christian video tapes and cassette tapes of deep teaching healing
messages, as well as praise tapes are available to minister to you while you are
here.
You will also find good reading materials in the rooms. Each room has the
ministry of that room written in book form in the room. These lessons are
available in the Bookstore for you to purchase and take with you.
CD/Cassette players are in the rooms. Please do not move CD players that you
find placed in strategic places in The Sanctuary.
Please do not move anything out of place when you come, i.e. books, tapes, CD
players, chairs, etc. When you move anything, please put it back in the place
where you found it.
Christian Video’s are available in the Recreational area. When you watch a video
tape - rewind the tape, put it back in the cover, and return it to where you
4
obtained it. Turn off the power on the VCR. Pleased do not leave tapes you
used lying around uncovered.
Miscellaneous:
Towels, soap, etc. are available in the rooms in the Sanctuary. All you need bring
with you is other personal items. NO SMOKING any place on the premises,
please!
Time of retiring:
Please try to return to your room between 10 and 11 p.m. (preferably 10 p.m.)
One may be tempted to watch videos until later or to visit, etc. Remember, the
ministry is in the room and you are to retire early to meet the Lord. Even if you
do not go to bed immediately, spend your time in your room reading, praying or
just relaxing.
5
Please prepare yourself to meet with the Lord and plan to bask in His presence.
To prepare yourself for this unusual experience, please read the following
guidelines:
1. Expect to meet the Lord. Although you may have an agenda of your own, He
will only speak on what He wants to deal with in your life. He may get to your
agenda, but wait quietly before Him for His leading.
2. THERE IS A SPECIFIC MINISTRY IN THE ROOM IN WHICH YOUR ARE
PLACED. You must seek to enter into that ministry. Under no circumstances
must you bring in outside material, tapes, etc., because what God wants you to
know or enter into is in the room already, and it is connected to the ministry of
the room.
3. You should definitely not come to the room and not get into the ministry of the
room. That is the only reason for spending time in the room. Often one will come
to get an answer to a particular problem. God may not deal with that problem,
but may need to deal with something else before He can touch that problem.
4. In order to enter into the ministry of the room, you must follow the directions
given when you check in, read the information about the room which is in the
“book of the room”. If you want to read a good Christian book, there are many in
the room and they are connected to the ministry of the room.
5. It is important that you stay in the presence of the Lord. You do not
come to The Sanctuary to spend time visiting and talking with others in the
house. Stay in your room most or all of the time.
6. The tapes and books in the bookstore are good, but what God has to say to you is
much better. He may not speak immediately, but if you wait, He will. Do not run
away from the presence of the Lord.
7. You should stay overnight at least two nights to get the most out of your stay.
That is a minimum time of stay. If by chance you are here for only one night, you
probably will not get all God has for you. God does not speak to our
convenience or bow to us when we give Him a little of our time.
8. Overnight Lodging -- $75. Please complete the attached registration blank if you
have not paid.
We Welcome Any Donations Above The Regular Price
Your blessing is in the gift above the cost.
(Make checks payable to The Sanctuary)

Group Planning Guidelines
TO:
FROM:
RE:
Group Leader planning a Sanctuary Retreat for a special group
Pernell H. Hewing, Minister and Director, The Sanctuary
Preparation for a Deeply Spiritual Sanctuary Experience
Please tell all the persons in your group who will be planning to
come to the Sanctuary for the special retreat that you are planning for them to
prepare themselves for an unusual Spiritual experience with the Lord. To get the
most out of the time while in The Sanctuary, each person should consecrate
themselves to the Lord in some way. (Read Exodus 19)
Tell everyone to seek the Lord for his/her own preparation and
to come prepared to meet the Lord and to have personal and spiritual needs met.
Prepare to spend most of the time outside of meeting times in quietness either in
the sanctified rooms in the Sanctuary or some selected spot in the building.
Although this will be a time for good fellowship, it will not be the
time nor place for socializing. The rooms have been specially sanctified to meet
spiritual needs and to move one into a deeper spiritual place with the Lord.
When you arrive, additional information will be given to help everyone
get the most out of this stay in The Sanctuary. If you have questions, call The
Sanctuary at least three weeks before your arrival date.

GROUP REGISTRATION
Fact Sheet for Group Coordinator
The following policy is implemented because often people
will tie up a date for a group and not follow through, creating
a financial loss for the Sanctuary and a Spiritual loss for the
ones turned away.
The Group Needs a Coordinator Committed to the Task
The Coordinators can help by being responsible for the
following:
9 Within two weeks of being given a date for the group, a deposit
of one/half of the total for each person in your group is due. If
the deposit is not received within two weeks, the reservation will
be canceled.
9 The Coordinator is responsible for collecting the deposit and
registration form from each person. Deposits are nonrefundable.
9 If the group is from a church or organization and all members
are not able to pay the deposit immediately, the Coordinator may
consider obtaining a check from the church or organization or
have the member(s) pay the church or organization.
9 The group Coordinator will please collect all forms and the
deposit and forward to The Sanctuary in one envelope.
9
9 The second half of the lodging fees are due no later than one
month after the first deposit.
After that date unpaid rooms will be made available to others.
For example: If a deposit of $750 for 10 rooms for two nights
was made; only five rooms will hold for the group. The other
rooms will be offered to others. (Often there is a waiting list –
especially for weekends.)
(Although deposits are not refundable, a deposit may be
transferred to another person who can fill that room for the
group’s scheduled date. Usually credit will not be given for
another date.)

† Each room has been named by God to depict the ministry He has
established for that room. Details of that ministry are explained in a book in
the room.
† When one comes into the room, he/she enters into the presence of the
Lord. The Lord then meets that one at the point of his/her need, arresting
one’s fears or cares, if there be any.
† The Sanctuary is a center of a Priestly Prayer Body Ministry where
saints co-labor with God night and day sending up priestly prayers for
individuals, ministers, and ministries. Many come from far and near to be
revived, healed, and join in the priestly ministry of prayer.
