Mayor’s Red Kettle Challenge!
Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 8:30am to 6:30pm
Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market at 303/Bowen
It’s time again for the Town of Pantego to come out and support The
Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Challenge! This will be the 5th year for
Pantego’s Mayor Melody Paradise to participate in this Challenge, going up
against the Mayors of Arlington, Mansfield, Dalworthington Gardens, and
Kennedale. Every year Pantego has risen to the occasion and far outshined
the other cities by raising more money per capita.
Join Mayor Paradise in making this a successful and festive event by stopping by to ring the
bells, sing carols, greet folks or just to offer words of encouragement. So spread the word to
your neighbors, friends, and to any groups who want to come on out and participate –
the more the merrier!!
The Red Kettle will be at Town Hall the week of December 8th for those of you who want to
make a donation before the event. If you would like to help sponsor this event please contact
Mayor Paradise or City Secretary Julie Arrington for more information. Looking forward to
seeing everyone on Saturday the 13th and thanks so much for helping to make this year a
successful one for The Salvation Army!!
Pantego Rocks this Challenge and this year shall be no different!!
Pantego Lions Club Annual Food Drive
The annual food drive benefiting
Arlington charities was a big
success again this year!
Approximately 7,000 pounds of food products were donated from
Silverleaf Resorts employees. Their
employees have contributed for at least 11 years and many tons of
food.
A big THANK YOU for donations & Silverleaf Resorts!!!
