WARNING: Tighten ! by screwing the leveler foot NOT the post. B. Connect Post A. Square Post Screw foot with metal washer through bottom shelf and into the end of each extruded post. Hand tighten fully and use wrench to tighten nut onto underside of shelf. Square the post to the bottom shelf. 90 O 2 Add Shelf Pegs & Door Hinges A. Group Shelf Pegs There are two varieties of shelf pegs (A and B). They are designed to cradle the shelf in place. Refer to drawing. A B B. Insert Hinges & Add Shelf Pegs Note: The doors can be either left or right side opening. Select a side to open each door. 1. Slide the bottom hinge plate through front post channel. 2. Insert two shelf pegs. 3. Slide top hinge plate through. 4. Repeat Steps 1-3 on second door. 5. Slide all other shelves in place and gently tighten with the hex key to desired position as shown. Insert the Rubber Tabs into the 2 holes on the D. Layout Sides E. Place Bottom F. Insert Back Panel Place the bottom panel in between slides with the rounded edge facing forward and make sure the pre-drilled holes are on the underside. Match the bracket holes with the pilot holes and attach six Drop the back panel into place, rounded edge up, matching pilot holes with holes on the brackets and attach black screws from behind. G. Add Fixing Hook H. Attaching Panel I. Adjust Height & Trim Cover each drawer slide and attach loosely. Place the sides parallel to each other with the rollers on the top outer corners. Adjustment screws on the fixing hook should face outside of the drawer box. Note: Each Bracket is marked “R” or “L”. sure that the rollers face the front of the rack. Use the Spacer Tool provided to help space the drawer as desired. Slip the fixing hooks into the slots on the sides of the drawer. Apply downward pressure to the drawer face until it stops. Then push the face in farther shorter part of the bracket with the flat side facing up. NOTE: The upper screw on the sides of the drawer fixing hook is used to adjust the height of the drawer if necessary. Loosen the lower screw and adjust height of drawer face by turning the upper screw. Tighten lower screw to lock in place Snap the two plastic covers with the Salamander Logo over screw assembly. Doc No. 500-785/v4.12 236 -3/5 4 Attach Doors Note: The hinge can be separated by pulling the black tab and pulling apart the hinge from the hinge base. Separated hinges snap back together. A. Attach Hinges to Door Frames Insert the hinges into the corresponding holes on the doors. Turn the screws 1/4 turn to the right to lock hinges in place. NOTE: Do not over tighten or the hinge will break. PULL B. Adjust Clearance Doors should be 1/8” above the bottom shelf before fully tightening hinges to post. Use the wrench thickness as a guide for the bottom gap. Secure hinges in place with hex key. C. Rubber Stops Attach the rubber stops to the inside of the door frame where it hits the shelf pegs. D. Door Pull Screw the Door Pull into place. SHELF PEG Doc No. 500-785/v4.12 236 -4/5 5 Attach Rear Panels 6 Final Assembly A. A. Placing & Adjusting Shelves Insert Hardware Place shelves from the bottom up. Angle the shelf in between the front post and set on top of shelf pegs. Use the Spacer Tool to adjust spacing between shelves. Position the peg through the Spacer and tighten. Combine the 1” threaded studs with the flat nuts. Slide 2 sets of hardware down the two outside posts and 4 sets down the two center posts. Allow studs to remain loose at bottom of post. 4X 4X 2X B. Fine Tuning 1 Use the bubble level to precisely adjust the shelves. Be sure to level both sides as well as front to back. Use the hex key to tighten each peg. Insert Side Panels Carefully slide side panels down center channel of outside posts. Be sure the posts are square to the bottom shelf to prevent any damage to side panels. REAR B. Position & Secure Stud SOFT CLOSE s Align the Spacer Tool at the top of each post, then position top studs through the small “Rear Panel” hole. Repeat this step with the bottom studs aligning the Tool along the bottom of post to set spacing for cable passage. Use the hex key to secure the top and bottom studs to the posts.
