The goal of Art for a Cause is to
bring creativity into relief for those
facing illness. We plan on
donating artwork we’ve done in
spare time, club meetings and
finished classwork projects to
hospitals in the area. This not only
gives student a creative outlet, but
also gives them an opportunity to
cheer up patients facing hardships.
Asian American strives to create a
welcoming community for all
Asian Americans* in the school.
The club also seeks to create an
environment in which everyone,
not only those of Asian descent,
can learn about different Asian
cultures while meeting new
people. There will be yummy

Aviation Enthusiasts is the firstand-only aviation club at Churchill
High School. Founded in 2015, the
club is aiming to provide a space
for students who are interested in
aviation-related topics to actively
collaborate and explore. The club
is dedicated to popularizing
aviation knowledge and educating
students about aviation-andaerospace careers.
Our club is for everyone and does

The mission of our club is just

Americans face in their
communities but are often swept
under the rug.
BASIC is a Christian Club that
emphasizes brotherly and sisterly
love for one another. We do bible
study, worship, lots of prayer, and
more. Our mission is to create a
community of people who will
grow deeper in God, and, more
specifically, change Churchill into a
more open, free place.
Building a Bridge with Letters is a
club in which students are able to
have an international pen pal to
expand their knowledge on the
culture of the country. Students
communicate with North Korean
refugee students living in South
Korea and other students all over
the world to make a connections
with other students their age.

club is to create both an

environment that teaches the risks,
rewards, and life lessons that come
with investing in the stock market.
Care-Taker Club, also known as
the Gardening Club, is dedicated
to tending to making Churchill a
more beautiful and welcoming
place and create a stronger sense
of community among students
through nature and gardening.
Cause For Paws is a club dedicated
to helping raise awareness and
funds for rescue animals in
shelters. This club also strives to
create a more suitable
environment for rescued animals
through projects and events that
benefit the shelters directly and
indirectly. We hope that through
the club’s passion and hard work,
we will be able to make an impact
on the lives of these innocent
animals and inspire others to share
their passion in helping out a

them. You can come if you are
serious about Diabolo or just want
to try it because we don't care

experience or never touched a
Diabolo before, we will be
teaching Diabolo to anyone who
wants to join.
Drama Club is the only theater
based club that we have at
Churchill. Al students participate;
whether on stage or behind the
scenes. The main production put
on by the Drama Club is One Acts,
a night of student produced,
directed, and performed scenes.
EMPEL is a club that focuses on
bettering the lives of the elderly.
From fundraising for Alzheimer’s
Disease to encouraging members
to volunteer at local senior homes,
this club is a great fit for anyone
who wants to help shed light on
issues like elderly loneliness and
abuse that often go unnoticed.

Churchill Film aims to provide an
opportunity for all students of all
skill levels to have a space to
practice and improve their
filmmaking skills, as well as to
network and cooperate on various
projects. No previous experience is
needed, and anyone with an
interest in creating short films,
documentaries, action/sport
montages and even YouTube
content is welcome! Members will
gain experience with filmmaking
equipment and techniques, as well
as have the option to submit their
work to a number of film festivals.
The Finance Club at Winston
Churchill high school is the first of
its kind. Our goal is to promote
financial literacy in students
beyond the classroom. By bringing
in monthly guest speakers in the
field and playing the virtual stock
game, we hope to accomplish
both of these goals. Through
education and experience, it is our
mission to send off Churchill
graduates that not only know how

promote effective communication

The friendship Bracelet Club goal
is to make friendship bracelets and
donate them to the Children’s Inn
hospital. It’s also a fun way to

The Friendship Circle club works

mainstream students and students
in the Bridge program. Each week

the Bridge program. The purpose
of the club is to promote inclusion
among all of our student body

The Friends of Friends in Need
club is a community service club.
Each year, we work with Fisher
House, the Make a Wish
Foundation, and the Women’s
and Children's center. The purpose
of this club is to be able to give
back to the community in various
subcategories; whether it is

Medical Masterminds is the perfect
club for students interested in the

money focused on local shelters in
need of outside help. Project
Shelter is a fit for a variety of
students! It’s open to students who
are focused on working with
animals in the future or simply

Public Health society is a club that
aims to make Churchill a cleaner
place. Think about the fall and
winter seasons. Almost a third of
the class has sniffles or is out with
the cold. To help reduce the
spread of disease throughout
Churchill, we will wipe down the
germ infested chromebooks, clean
the keyboards and distribute hand
sanitizers before lunch. Join the

proceeds go directly toward The
Chesapeake Bay Foundation. In
just one year we have raised over
