MPA Academy Fireside Chat Series
The MPA Academy organised the 2nd Fireside Chat Series on 15 May 2015 with BG
(NS) Ishak Ismail as the guest speaker. BG Ishak shared his personal experiences
and stories about leading in situations and working across government agencies and
with other civilian organisations and overseas partners.
His presentation included useful leadership and excellence tools gained from 33
years of life experiences of leading in the army with special focus on his experiences
organising the Youth Olympic Games that Singapore hosted in 2010.
The event was attended by over 45 MPA staff who took away not only nuggets of
wisdom but also interesting items such as peacock feathers which were used in one
of the exercises during the talk.
