Certus Solutions - Expanding into Asia Pacific
Heads of Agreement Reached for Acquisition of
Nebular Consulting Pty Ltd
Certus Solutions (www.certus-solutions.com), an Oracle Platinum Partner, Education Partner
and a leading provider of implementation and business support services for Oracle HCM and
ERP Cloud services, is pleased to announce it has reached a Heads of Agreement in regard to
its acquisition of Nebular Consulting Pty Ltd (“Nebular”) (www.nebularconsulting.com) Asia
Pacific’s (APAC) recognised preferred implementation partner for Oracle Talent Cloud
(formerly “Taleo”).
Certus recent success in implementing Oracle HCM Cloud for JT Group Ltd in Australia has
led Certus to recognise that this geography has significant business opportunities for
exponential revenue growth for an experienced Oracle Cloud Partner. Under the agreement
Certus will take a minority stake in Nebular with an unrestricted time bound option to
exercise to take controlling interest of the company. As part of the agreement Nebular
Consulting Pty Ltd will be renamed Certus Solutions Consulting Services APAC Pty Ltd, and
trade as “Certus Solutions” (subject to final confirmation by Australian Securities and Investments
Commission).
Certus overriding objective to its APAC venture is to develop Nebular’s people and grow its
existing business by enabling a local Oracle Cloud specialised delivery team with offshore
support being provided from the UK. The transaction will enable Nebular to leverage the
Certus brand; access Oracle ERP & HCM Cloud product knowledge and implementation
expertise; enhanced business development capability; provide extensive reference-ability and
access to Certus intellectual property in its engage® ERP and HCM for Midsize product and
service offerings.
The acquisition of Nebular is a strategic move by Certus allowing not only the company to
leverage Nebular’s existing Taleo client base in the APAC region but also making Certus a
global company for the delivery of Oracle ERP and HCM Cloud Services with a strong local
regional presence. The venture will also enable Certus to scale its engage® Business Support
Services offering and provide 24x7 support for its global customers.
Certus and Nebular brings together and extends a winning partnership for the Asia Pacific
region and to Oracle as the alternative partner of choice to the larger tier 1 management
consultancies and systems integrators across the region for Oracle Cloud implementations.
The acquisition is scheduled to be completed by end of December 2015.
