To all Bidders:
For your information and use please note the following changes to the bid document for IFB #030515, Environmental
Patrol Boat, Motor, and Trailer for the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office:
1. On page 2 of the IFB change Hull length to 21 feet minimum to 24 feet maximum.
2. Delete number 3 on page 2. The composite construction requirements are discussed in the paragraph above
on page 2.
3. On page 3, sentence 11, delete and lit Blue Sea WeatherDeck Waterproof Circuit Breaker Panel. The
sentence should read-Switches to be waterproof with circuit breakers labeled.
4. On page 3, sentence 14, change battery isolator to say engine isolator.
5. On page 3, sentence 15, remove the word Lexan.
6. On page 3, sentence 16, remove the second sentence-In deck storage/fish boxes below the waterline are to be
filled with high density foam flotation and sealed. On the third sentence remove the works-and dry
ventilation.
7. On page 3, sentence 17; remove the words- Commercial grade.
8. On page 3, sentence 20; remove the words -Six 8 inch. The sentence should read-Retractable stainless steel
cleats.
9. On page 3, sentence 21, remove the words-less, and (Virtual lifeline or equivalent).
10. On page 3, sentence 22, remove the words-Commercial and black from the sentence.
11. On page 3, delete sentence 23.
12. On page 3, delete sentence 25.
13. On page 4, sentence 1, delete the paragraph and replace with- Provide a standard T-top.
14. On page 4, paragraph C, change the sentence to read-All aluminum stainless custom fit trailer and hardware:
15. On page 5, replace sentence 14 with-Brakes: hydraulic surge disk-stainless brakes on each axle.
16. On page 5, add Yamaha SDS stainless propeller.
