ERC 110K is an extremely cost-effective, bulk-blended product
constructed primarily with alkylated isoparaffinic and aromatic
blending stocks. It contains the absolute minimum quantity of
combustion reactive, gum forming olefinic materials.
High ASTM Octane numbers are obtained from the use of high grade
branched chain alkanes possessing superior tetraethyl lead (TEL)
sensitivity and high resistance to heat and pressure. End gas region
control is further enhanced with the use of high auto-ignition
temperature/medium boiling range aromatic materials.

TEL levels are moderate, and appropriate quantities of effective lead
scavengers and combustion chamber deposit cleansers have been
incorporated into ERC 110K. Oxygenated octane improvers are
utilized; and a proven antioxidant is used to maximize storage life.
Additionaly, an extremely effective fuel system cleanliness additive is
used.
High heat values per unit volume and the capability of running leaner
A/F ratios produce excellent mileage figures in real world race
conditions. Iso-paraffinic hydrocarbon materials with high hydrogen/
carbon ratios are used to optimize heat release per unit weight.
ERC 110K has demonstrated a superior convective cooling
coefficient related to extracting heat from the combustion chamber
during periods of overlap flow. This characteristic of ERC 110K gives
it the capability of reducing cooling system heat exchange loads,
thereby allowing engine operation with lean mixture/best power
tuning adjustments for extended periods.

ERC A-8C Racing Gasoline is custom blended in small quantities
with the highest quality iso-paraffinic and aromatic blending stocks
available. Cost is increased considerably over ERC 110K.
The tetraethyl lead (TEL) levels are set at the maximum allowed by
the Surgeon General at this time, and appropriate quantities of lead
scavengers and deposit cleansers are included. A-8C is highly
effective in supercharged, turbocharged or nitrous assisted engines.
High heat values per unit volume and the capability of running leaner
A/F ratios produce excellent mileage figures in real world race
conditions. Iso-paraffinic hydrocarbon materials with high hydrogen/
carbon ratios are used to optimize heat release per unit weight.
The alkane and aromatic compounds used in A-8C were selected
with resistance to detonation as the primary consideration. Extremely
high ASTM Octane numbers and absolute maximum resistance to
heat and pressure characterize this blend. The branched chain
alkanes that comprise the paraffinic fraction exhibit the highest
resistance to heat and pressure known in petrochemistry. The
aromatic fraction is a leaded, concentrated, ultra high auto-ignition
temperature combination of isomeric components giving excellent
end gas region control and superior convective combustion chamber
cooling.

ERC A-19A and A-19K Racing Gasolines are predominantly
paraffinic in character, containing a small highly concentrated high
quality aromatic fraction. They are custom blended in smaller
quantities and are intended for normally aspirated engines.
These blends produce higher bomb calorimeter readings
commensurate with higher heat values per unit weight. Blending
stocks were chosen with high hydrogen/carbon ratios and elevated
resistance to heat and pressure as the main criteria. Fuel mileage
with these blends is poorer than with higher density fuels; and in
order to achieve proper airfuel ratios, additional fuel flow is required.

Power increases on the order of 1.0-2.0% o/c are typically reported
with these blends.
ERC A-19A and A-19K are recommended for normally aspirated
engines used in drag racing, circle track racing and other short
duration events in which RPMs are usually elevated and cooling
system capability is more than adequate. ERC A-19A and A-19K are
not recommended for supercharged or turbocharged engines, use in
air-cooled engines (with some exceptions), or any other application
where a gasoline with high convective cooling coefficient is required.

With a Research Octane of 106 and a Motor Octane of 96, this
gasoline covers a multitude of low to medium compression
applications at a very reasonable cost.
ERC uses only high grade paraffinic and aromatic blend stocks to
carefully tailor this fuels' properties for the best possible cost/benefit
ratio. Max Unleaded/A also contains a Hi Octane oxygenate fraction
that is controlled at 2.7% net mass oxygen.
This fuel has shown itself to be effective in combustion environments
that should have overstressed this very economically priced gasoline.
ERC Max Unleaded/A was the spec fuel for the FIA GT
Championship rounds held in the United States in 1999 and
performed admirably, even when used in engines that had
considerably higher compression ratios than are normally
recommended for this fuel. ERC Max Unleaded/A is a great fuel
value that provides significant performance and excellent octane
number protection at a very reasonable price.
As with all ERC fuels, Max Unleaded/A is blended and dispensed
with optimum product consistency and purity as the foremost
consideration.

designed to give excellent performance in normally aspirated race
engines. No organo-metallic additives are used.
Residue

Very high F-1 and F-2 octane numbers and an R + M ÷ 2 octane of
104 allows this fuel to tolerate the lean mixtures and maximum spark
lead needed to optimize output in normally aspirated race engines.
ERC-RUL Racing Gasoline has a designed-in low Reid Vapor
Pressure (RVP) in order to maximize fuel metering consistency and
minimize fuel system vapor/liquid ratios.
In certified A-B-A testing, no other unleaded gasoline (including some
with higher claimed octanes) octane-rated higher than ERC-RUL
Racing Gasoline.
Also available is ERC-RULH, a slightly heavier (higher Sp. Gr.) fuel
which bridges the gap between RUL and the ultra-heavy RUL/T.
These fuels have similar octane numbers, with other properties which
meet the requirements of certain, specific racing applications.
Contact ERC for details.
RUL, RUL/H, and RUL/T are the most highly developed and
thoroughly tested gasolines we've ever produced.

ERC-RUL/H and RUL/T Racing Gasolines are completely unleaded
high density (specific gravity) racing gasolines specifically designed
to work in heavily supercharged or turbocharged race engines and/or
in normally aspirated, high compression engines where high fuel
mileage with unleaded fuels is desirable and long peroids at WOT
(Wide Open Throttle) are typical. No organo-metallic additives are
used.
In back to back dyno testing with IMSA GTP and GTO style turbocharged engines, ERC-RUL/H and RUL/T have proven to be equal
or superior to some leaded race fuels which showed higher F-1 and
F-2 rated octanes. Additionally, in this testing, spark plug deposit
formation was all but eliminated.
ERC-RUL/T has been primarily designed to operate in turbo
applications with high manifold pressures and to provide outstanding
combustion space convective cooling. ERC-RUL/H works well in
normally aspirated applications, offering better mileage and excellent
convective cooling of the combustion space.
As with ERC-RUL, ERC-RUL/H and RUL/T have designed-in low
Reid Vapor Pressures (RVP) to enhance fuel metering consistency
and to minimize fuel system vapor/liquid ratios.
In certified A-B-A testing, no other unleaded gasoline (including
some with higher claimed octanes) octane rated higherthan these
fuels.
ERC-RUL, ERC-RUL/H and RUL/T are the most highly developed
and thoroughly tested gasolines we've ever produced.
