Features/benefits
The MSA Sampling System was developed to enable
the detection of combustible, toxic gases or oxygen in
locations whose conditions of temperature, pressure or
dust prevents the use of sensors placed directly in the
environment.
Its functioning mainly consists of a worm pipe to reduce
the temperature of the sampled gas and a filter with decanter which removes the particulate material and retains
the condensed humidity. The displacement of the sample
is done by a vacuum unit driven by compressed air by
the principle of Venturi and a three way valve allows the
entry of a calibration gas in the system for adjustment of the
sensitivity of the sensor.
As the System does not have electric components, except the
sensor, it can be installed in classified areas, without requiring
complicated installations, being enough that the connection
of the sensor is made with rigid conduit.
