EHB previously utilized a variety of basketball courts in Middle Tennessee. This is a three-‐year agreement. EHB is a character-‐focused organization committed to developing boys and girls in grades third through eighth spiritually, athletically, academically and socially through the sport of basketball. The Tennessee organization fields nine boys and six girls travel teams and hosts several NIKE Basketball Camps in Middle Tennessee. “Our program continues to grow as our message has resonated with families across Tennessee,” said Drew Maddux, Tennessee Director of EHB. “We’ve gone from two boys and four girls teams in 2014 to nine boys and six girls teams this year and our NIKE Basketball Camps continue to attract more and more participants. It was time to establish a home base and Franklin Fieldhouse – with its tremendous facilities and shared vision for youth sports – was a perfect fit.” The Franklin Fieldhouse, located on General George Patton Drive in Franklin, features more than 32,000-‐square-‐feet of multi-‐purpose gymnasium space that allows for four regulation basketball courts that can also convert to eight volleyball courts. The Franklin Fieldhouse also has a 10,000-‐square-‐foot turf field that is utilized for basketball and soccer training. “We’re pleased to join with EHB Tennessee to bring their events to a central location,” said Trigg Wilkes, general manager of Franklin Fieldhouse. “While we will continue to host our own basketball events and those of other groups, EHB will be a great partner and bring added exposure to our facility.” Upcoming events include 3-‐on-‐3 street ball tournaments, a 3-‐on-‐3 fall league and potentially a 5-‐on-‐5 fall initiative. Over the past nine years, he has an overall record of 272-‐49. From 1994-‐1998, Maddux was a four-‐year basketball starter at Vanderbilt University. -‐-‐30-‐-‐
