Food Drive Tomorrow! FROM PTO… Coming Up: SPECIAL

Food Drive Tomorrow!
Please send in canned or dry goods tomorrow for our first food drive, benefitting our St. Vincent DePaul Society.
Students may also make monetary donations for purchasing fresh produce or meats. This is tied to our reflections on St.
Vincent DePaul this week, and the students’ suggestions of how to be Jesus to those in need. I hope we have a great
collection to pass on to SVD. Thanks in advance for supporting this lesson of Love in Action.
Also collecting… Clean, clear, 2-litre plastic bottles for Mrs. Clark’s sciences classes.
FROM PTO… Coming Up:



Chipotle Night! Mark your calendars for St. B. night at Chipotle for October 19th. That is the first night
of parent conferences, so it’s easy for families to fit in on their way home in the afternoon, or to
conferences in the evening. Proceeds benefit the 8th grade class trip to Washington D.C.
Wine Social Don’t miss this fun and friendly event – a chance to mingle with friends or meet new ones
while enjoying a variety of wines. November 5th. Details to follow.
Craft Fair St. B.’s first (annual?) craft fair is slated for November 19th 9 a.m. – 4:30. Contact Samantha
Storer at [email protected] or call her at (513) 543-8012 if you’d like to reserve/rent a vendor
table. Not a crafter? Shoppers are needed, too! Mark your calendars and save the date!

SPECIAL BASKETBALL and VOLLEYBALL WARM-UP SHIRTS and HOODIES
Orders for a special edition pre-game warm-up shirt are being taken until September 30. Delivery is expected by
October 14. Don’t miss this one-time opportunity! One large order will be placed, so make sure you’ve turned in a form
and payment by 9/30/2016.
Orders are also being collected for the St. Bernadette Hoodie! I have Design #1 in the Dry-Fit version. I love it! The
hoodie looks sharp and is very comfy. Hoodies are considered “outer wear” and may not be worn in the regular
classroom, but they are perfect for the cool fall mornings, or for staying warm on the soccer sidelines. Place your order
by September 30, and delivery is expected by October 14. One large order will be placed. Don’t miss out!
For Your Calendar:
 Friday, Sept. 30: Regular Uniform (If you wore your uniform for Picture Day, Ms. Ingram gave you an out-ofuniform pass for this day. )
 Wednesday, Oct. 5th: Mass Day, All school at 8:15. Celebrating Sr. Judy’s vocation.
 Friday, Oct. 7: Bengals Day. Support the home team with orange or black shirts, or wear Bengals Ts or Jerseys
with uniform bottoms. Not a Bengals’ fan? An all-NFL day is coming up in a few weeks. Hang on!
Blessings,
