I booked a cab on theS 35(1)iPhone app(booking number S 35(1) ). I was picked up by the driver in Coburg and asked him to take me to Blackburn. About a minute after driving he said that he wasn't going to turn
his meter on and that if I didn't pay him cash that he would not take me home. I knew that I would not be able to get another taxi, being new years day, and hesitantly agreed. He told me that the charge would be
$70 cash and I had to pay it now. I said that it shouldn't cost that much as I had never paid more than $60 for it previously, however he was insistent. After having handed over the cash, he began to tell me that the
only reason he was driving me home is that when I ran to the taxi he "could see my breasts bouncing up and down" and how good they looked. I had to listen to half an hour of lewd and frankly disgusting comments
from the driver in regards to my breasts and "how good they look with the seatbelt between them", "when I hired a hooker hers were good but not as round as yours", "you must have had surgery done to make
them look that round and good" and other comments to that nature. I feel violated to say the least. Dressed quite conservatively considering it was new years day, I was alone, had already given him the last of my
cash, and had no other way of getting home. I am a young woman and I am absolutely appalled at the driver's conduct. To top the horrible experience off, just before he dropped me home, he kept asking me "can I
please just touch them" over and over. I feel disgusting. Words cannot express how dirty I felt after that cab ride, and hours later still feel just as horrible. This needs to be taken further. There is no situation in which
a young woman should ever be treated in such capacity, especially considering he was working. I would also like a refund of my money - I refuse to have paid to be verbally sexually abused and demeaned in that

ccording to the conversation, S 25 declined the driver's offers, paid for the fare and got out of the cab. Unfortunately, she did not get a receipt or the number of the taxi she caught.
S 25 says she calledS 35(1)to complain about the incident the next day and was told that there was no record of her booking but that she should put her complaint in writing. She says she also called Springvale
Police station who told her to call the 'Taxi Ombudsman'.

I hailed a taxi approx 2am Sunday morning, from St Kilda.
The taxi driver S 25 made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. He proceeded to ask me personal questions about whether I had a boyfriend, what I do for sex, who I live with, told me of desperate girls
that do things to him in taxi's, proceeded to tell me a story about him and a swedish girl a few weeks before and that she took him back to her house and what they did (in a sexual context). That he would prefer to
find girls rather than using brothels, etc etc. He was disgusting and I don't think this is in any way appropriate to speak to a female passenger who has been out on the town. We trust taxi drivers to drive us home
safely and I can tell you I would rather risk driving myself than get into another cab with a driver like this man.
I hadn't had too much to drink, therefore tried to keep the conversation light and steer the conversation away from his graphic discriptions. I felt very scared and worried about whether he was going to follow me
out of the car that i didn't bother to wait for my change.
I believe this man is a danger to women who have been out drinking and enjoying their weekends. He is a predator and should not be driving taxi's! Absolutely disgusting! my worst experience yet!

skills to complete this form independently . On Tuesday 12th March S 25 spoke to me on teh phone and informed me the following : S 25 alleges she was inappropriately touched on the leg, twice when in the back
seat of the taxi on her journey home from the dentist.S 25reported that after the first time she said to the driver that "he should not have done that" She was then touched on the leg a second time . Receipt will be

I would like to place a formal complaint against a taxi driver S
( 35(1)) for sexual harassment. As a frequent taxi passenger I was mortified by the way I was treated and has put me in shock that these drivers are
allowed to be on our roads and to ensure ?our safety?.
One Saturday 30th March, the driver arrived 4-5 minutes after I received myS 35(1)text message at 12:49pm notifying me my cab is approaching. I waited at the front of my place and entered the vehicle in the
passenger seat. The driver had asked general small talk questions ?hi, how are you, where is your destination? and I responded ?good, I?m off to Highpoint Shopping Centre in Maribyrnong?. By that point the
conversation was finished from my end and I was texting friends on my phone (giving no acknowledgement to the driver).
When I got to the end of my street (
) the taxi driver had turned to me and said ?what are you buying at highpoint and you look very sexy in your dress, so sexy? and repeated three times. I

completely ignored it and called my friend to discuss the long weekend break. When I had got off the phone the taxi driver then asked me ?do I have a boyfriend, what type of guys I go for, would you be interested in
meeting up over the weekend, so that?s where you live, do you go ?party party?, where do you work, what do you study? my response was ?no, I don?t know? several times. I felt uncomfortable and very anxious as I
kept thinking ?when is this trip going to be over?.
When we reached Alexander pde/Maribyrnong rd intersection he asked me for my number and I responded ?no, can?t you just take me to Highpoint?. I then text messaged my sister and a friend roughly at the same
time (1:10pm) asking if they could call me as I?m getting harassed by the driver (print screens of texts can be provided). As I?m looking down at my phone the driver had then turned and asked ?when did you first get
jiggy jiggy, when did you lose your virginity?? I then got very irate and turned to him and said ?enough, it?s personal just take me to Highpoint that?s it?. As he kept trying to guess my age 14, 15 I felt so
uncomfortable my sister finally called me after a good 5 minutes after receiving my text. I then stayed on the phone until I reached my destination. When I went to pay for the fare, he then asked for my number
again and I jumped out of the car immediately after paying.
After this incident, I could not perform my duties for the day and was terrified to enter a cab again after this as I didn?t want to get in the same cab with the same driver. It was disgustingly, ugly behaviour and NO
female should be treated like that. I have spoken to the police and S 35(1)in relation to this incident:

I would really appreciate a response on what action has taken place after this incident, as I hope NO ONE will have to experience what I did that day (including very young girls). As a frequent customer I will be

On Saturday the 6th of April at 6:15 I got into a taxi that I ordered to my home address in Port Melbourne going into the city. I got into the taxi and from the minute I sat down I was told that I was the driver?s
?dream girl?, I laughed it off and said thank you the first three or four times, but then things started to get more serious. The driver then asked me if he could take me out on a date, if he could take my picture and
even asked if he could touch me (at least three times). I felt scared, vulnerable and had no idea what to do. He then proceeded to tell me that once I left the taxi he would ?head to the bathroom? and then placed
one of his hands on his crotch and left it there for most of the way.
I am a 21 year old female that has never felt so victimised or afraid in my entire life, especially since this man was a stranger to me and came across as quite an obsessive and persistent person, I can honestly say that
I was scared for my safety. Not only did he harass me the entire way (also choosing the longest route possible) he moved his hand over to my handbag, which was placed on my lap and told me to ?put it on the
floor?, I said ?no? he asked another three times until I sternly said ?no?, his defence; ?but please, I just want to see your body.?
I am writing to you because this is absolutely unacceptable behaviour for your employees or ANYONE to display, who knows what could have happened if I were drunk and it were night time. I do not want this to
happen to anybody else.
I have his driver number and I also managed to capture a short snippet of his disgusting behaviour on my telephone this includes him telling me that I am his ?dream girl?, also of him asking if he could ?take a
picture? and if he could ?touch me? all in a space of about 25 seconds. I have not yet gone to the police over this matter but am definitely contemplating it if this incident is not taken seriously by S 35(1)
especially since this man knows my home address, which I find quite distressing. Victimisation of women is not tolerated in Australia and I will not be treated in that way by anybody, let alone one of your drivers.
Please get back to me ASAP.

On 01/03/2013 at approximately 2330 hrs a female hailed a taxi from Collins Street. As she got in the taxi she said her feet were hurting. The male taxi driver said that she had the most beautiful feet ans they should
be sucked. The male spoke about sucking her feet in exchange for a free fare home and this made the female extremely uncomfortable and scared she was going to be sexually assaulted. He locked the doors to the
taxi and when she questioned him about he denied doing so even though she tried the door handle and couldn't open it,she said she would scream and he unlocked the doors,female felt frightened of what he was
going to do. Male then dropped her at home abd said that she didn't have to pay,female insisted and paid the fare. The male then handed her a business card with the name S 25 on it,ph

Complaint in relation to a driver asking very personal questions i.e..e: 'Do you have a boy/girl friend?' - 'Do you have a penis?' - 'Are you a Transvestite?' - 'Who do you live with?'. Allegations that the driver kept
saying many times to the passenger that he was very lonely. Passenger was sitting in the front seat and the allegations that the driver ran his hand down slowly and in a sleazy manner as if he was coming onto the
passenger. Driver asked passenger for their telephone number so he could make future contact. Driver kept talking about how lonely he was and said 'can I come and visit you - I'm very lonely'. Passenger states that
once they got out of the taxi the driver hung around for 10 minutes before driving off.

On Saturday the 1st of June 2013 between 11:30pm to 12:00am My daughter
and 3 of her friends hailed a taxi on Shannon Avenue outside the Sphinx hotel to go to Homehouse night club in

Geelong.
A taxi cab picked them up. The cab had all the windows open and the driver was wearing a beanie and a red jacket he was of Indian appearance. When they hopped in the taxi they noticed the smell of marijuana and
asked the driver if he had been smoking. The driver giggled and replied you girls are having fun I can have fun too. He then sped all the way to Homehouse night club at about 5 to 10kl over the speed limit. They
noticed that the music was loud and they could not hear the taxi radio. The drivers photo did not match the drivers face. On the way the Driver asked the girls if they shaved their pussies. When they arrive at
Homehouse and paid the fair the driver made a rude gesture with his fingers by inserting and removing a finger on 1 hand into a circle made by 2 fingers on his other hand. I have reported this to the Ocean Grove
police and they advised me to send my complaint to you and request and update of the actions you have taken to investigate this complaint. My daughter did not think to take the details of the taxi or the drivers
number she has been advised to take this action in future. My main concern apart from the rudeness this driver displayed to my daughter and her friends is the fact that he could be cruising the streets with no radio
and not being officially on duty looking for venerable young girls to take advantage of them. Please investigate and inform me of the actions you have taken in this matter. thank you.

Alleged incident details are as follows:
1. Driver tried to act cool and put his hands down the front of his pants.
2. Passenger was sitting in the passenger seat.
3. She thinks he was touching himself inappropriately.
4. She paid him cash and she was close to home. She asked him to drop her off around the corner from her apartment which is a block away home.
5. He grabbed her arm while she was paying for the fare. He grabbed her arm below her elbow and asked her if she had a boyfriend and if she lives alone.
6. As she was in a hurry to get out of taxi left her leather gloves behind and ran out of the taxi.
7. Driver sped off very quickly and she didn't see which way he went.
8. No receipt was given to her She gave him $50 in note and the fare was 19.50.
9. She was picked up from exhibition and flinders street 11.45pm and asked to be dropped off around the corner from her home address.
10. It was a street hail job.
11. She called a friend fater the incident because she felt uncomfortable about the incident. She didn't fear putting in a complaint because he didn't drop her at the front and doesn't know the exact apartment.
12. She rang a couple of people the next day and they all told her to ring the police so she decided to go to the police station in Prahran.

The driver was making inappropriate comments to me and trying to show me his penis, he even went so far as to attempt to unbuckle his pants at the stop light before I was firmly telling him not to do it although
this took several attempts. I called this to attention multiple times and was told a letter would be sent in the mail but it's been a week and no letter has arrived yet. I feel that it was the responsibility of the S 35(1)
to give me the right to a safe journey even though I felt unsafe for most of the ride home. The bookie number was S 35(1)

I was in the taxi and accidentally vomited into my hand and then out the door. I only got a little bit in the taxi door. The taxi driver proceeded to lock me in the taxi and said I had to pay a fine of $222. I had to pay the

Driver was asking me questions like
how many brothers do I have, do I have a boyfriend, he asked if he could hold my hand,
he said I was very beautiful and my perfume was very nice
he was asking if I was afraid of him and why was I scared.
He seemed like he was going to pull over about 4 times, slowing down, and breathing very heavily. I asked to get out at the Clifton springs primary school and he said no he will take me to my house, I said no I have
to get out here, I said it three times and he ignored me.
I said my house was across the road to my actual house and he watched me run into my house.
I got a lift back to my mum in ocean grove because I was too scared to sleep at my house by myself.
I feel something should be done about this because taxi services are supposed to be there to get home safe and I shouldn't have to think twice about getting into one by myself.

I hailed a taxi from the Barkley hotel at approx 10:45pm on Sunday 27 October 2013. The driver was of an Indian decent. My boyfriend told the taxi driver my address (as provided in this form) however he did not get
in the taxi with me. I was alone and foolishly sat in the front passenger seat. The taxi driver did not speak to me and I fell asleep as I had been drinking. I was drunk but coherent. I woke up approx one hour later to
the taxi driver leaning over to me with his hand up my skirt touching my underwear. I got a fright and he quickly moved his hand away and continued driving looking straight ahead. He then put his hand back on to
my leg and began moving his hand up and down my leg. I was so frightened so I turned away from him towards the passenger car door and tried calling my boyfriend multiple times (he finally answered and I tried to
explain what had happened to me but in a way that he guessed it from his end of the phone because I didnt want the cab driver to hear what I was saying incase he did something to me - the police have details of
this conversation with my boyfriend). The cab driver dropped me at my house which was only around the corner from when I woke up to him touching me. He then did a U-turn and sped off down my street. I was
abolutely distraight and hysterical. My dad opened the front door to let me in and as soon as he saw me and I told him what happened he and my mum immediately called police to which 6 officers attended my
home. I have since made a formal statement at Box Hill police station. The problem is that I wasnt able to recollect the full ID number of the cab driver, the only number i could remember is 55064 and I was not able
to get a hold of the licence plate. However I did make a payment on my visa debit card, so I am hoping and praying that this transaction will help to locate this driver. The police have told me that because I was drunk
its not going to be a strong case, but this incident has completely destroyed me and I will never get into a taxi again for a long time. I am only 20 years old and I have never experienced something like this before. I
was scared for my life and had to sit there until he dropped me home in fear that he would do something to me had I told him to get away from me or stop the car. I have never been so frightened in my entire life
and I will never get over this incident. I havent been able to sleep and cant stop thinking about what happened and it makes me feel sick. I have no faith in the taxi system in this country. I am hoping that if this cant
be pursued in the courts then I am hoping that you can help investigate and find this driver and do something about it internaly. The police are currently trying to obtain footage from the Barkley hotel to see if they
can view the taxi I got into. However it doesnt seem like an urgent matter for them, so by the time they find him I am worried that any evidence eg: video camera inside the taxi will be tampered with. I remember
the drivers face so if I saw a photo of him I would be able to identify him immediately.

The driver of the taxi offered to pick me and a friend up at around 3:45am on Saturday 28th Sept on Dawson Street, Brunswick, near the corner of Sydney Road. I was hesitant because I had a bike with me, and we
were only a short trip from home. The driver insisted it was not a problem. He dropped us off at my house (
), and I attempted to pay him $10. The meter had not been running and he refused

to take my money. I thought he was just being nice. However, he then started to question why I had been kissing my friend, and told me I should be with a nice man. He then asked me out on a date. I politely
refused. He then asked me if he could kiss me. I refused. He was quite insistent that I should and he refused to take my money and leave. I was only because I was holding my bike between him and me that I could
stop him from getting any closer to me. After asking him nicely to leave several times, it was only with the threat of making a complaint or calling the police did he leave.
He was not physical, however he was clearly trying to take advantage of a young woman who was intoxicated, and his actions were predatory. I was left feeling incredibly uncomfortable, and worried as he then knew
where I lived.

It was raining and I had been waiting on the corner of little bourke and russel street for some time trying to hail a cab.
The cab I am making a complaint of sexual harassment about pulled up at the lights opposite the exford hotel.
he wound down his window and asked where I was going.
I said North Melbourne, to which he replied that it was "too short"
desperate for a cab I said that I would pay him whatever he wanted if he would just take me home.
He said $30
I said ok and hopped in the cab.
I usually sit in the back but the lights were about to change so I hastily hopped in the front.
There were roadworks in elizabeth street so he headed up bourke street so that he could hit victoria street from exhibition.
As he turned up bourke he pointed to a young woman in a pink dress and made a comment "look at all those sluts".
this made me very uncomfortable.
He the proceeded to talk about all the "skanks hungry for a banana".
He put his hand on my upper thigh repeatedly.
I was very scared at this point.
As he was driivng he touched my shoulder and asked me inappropriate questions such as my age, whether or not I had a boyfriend and why I wasn't out partying.
I was very very uncomfortable .
I am only 22 and have no idea how to respond to this sort of harassment.
I texted my family and had them call me and meet me out front of my house.
He spoke in depth about working on saturdays and how he loved "all the hot sluts".
When we reached the destination he stopped before my house in a very dark spot and put his hand on my face and thigh.
I squirmed visibly and moved away yet again, and opened the cab door, eventually extricating myself.

I got in the taxi and told the driver where I wanted to. He started saying I had a really nice body and that he liked my body type.
He asked me if I ever use drugs, I said sometimes because I wanted to see where he was going with the conversation.
He said I should try cocaine and he suggested I use it in an innapropriate sexual way. After this I tried to be as unresponsive as possible.
I got him to drop me off on my street, but not in front of my house so I could pretend I lived somewhere else. I also paid in cash.

The cab driver gave me his name and number on a S 35(1) card. His name is S 25 and his mobile number is
Whilst taking the journey from Coburg to S 25 the driver asked me if I could

come to his house to have sex with him. He also spoke in graphic details about what he likes to do in the bedroom. He was very persistent and refused to give up when I explained that I have a boyfriend. This only led
him to ask questions about my sex life with my boyfriend. I accepted his number and name only for the purposes of reporting the driver. At the end of the journey he read my palm which I allowed until I felt I could
get out of the cab. He was very persistent as I previously stated and I was confused which explains why I didn't note down his taxi number. He asked me then to take off my stocking so he could do a 'reading' of the
lines on my feet. It was then that I became very stern and proceeded to get out of the cab. I have rung S 35(1) and they cannot find a record of the ride. I paid cash and did not use my MPTP card as I have lost
it and waiting for a new one to be issued. The driver was very sexually explicit and revolting and I felt threatened and insulted. I will contact the S 25 police for advice. The driver explained that he lives in
S 25 also and I am worried that if I proceed with reporting him, he will come to my house. He knows the address but not the unit number. If I could remain ANONYMOUS to the driver, that would be
appreciated.

From the moment I got into the taxi the driver made my uncomfortable with comments such "you're beautiful", calling me sweetheart and at one point he even tried to hold my hand. I was so uncomfortable that at
one point I sent his details to two of my friends in case something happened. (Hindsight says I should've got out)
When we got to my house he got out of the taxi, followed me towards my house and hugged me. Whilst doing said how he would like to come inside with me and loose his virginity to me. I got loose of his hug and
went inside - with him yelling behind me that he loved me and wanted to be with me.
This behaviour is inappropriate and has left me feeling very uncomfortable in my own home - as he knows where I live and probably has my name etc (as I paid by EFTPOS).

My 18 year old daughter caught a taxi home from 680 Glenferrie Road to

machine was working again. he then asked if she was going to the airport soon as he would like to drive her. It is totally unacceptable that a young woman should feel uncomfortable like that and if I had known this

I was picked up by a cab at around 3:30am, from the corner of Elizabeth street and flinders lane. I was going to camberwell.
I was intoxicated and heading home, i originally got into the back seat of the cab, and the driver took hold of my hand and was rubbing my hand. I cant remember the conversation that was taking place, i then texted
my friend with the number that was displayed on the drivers license on the dashboard, and said i felt unsafe and as if i was being harassed.
he then pulled over on the tollway and asked me to move to the front seat, as i was intoxicated i just did so, then he started touching me, he was holding my hand and touching my chest then he moved his hand
down my top and underneath my clothing and bra. he was kissing me and driving the car and i recall telling him he really should be watching the road.I asked him to stop touching me and made it clear that his
advances were unwanted. then when i arrived at my house he asked me how much cash i had and i had $30 he took that and then charged an extra $11.55 on my credit card making the fare cost $41.55, usually it
costs closer to about $27 to get home from the city.

My complaint about this drive relates to two things - sexually explicit comments and the safety of his driving, both of which were bad enough that I seriously considered calling the police.

During the trip, the driver also told me progressively more sexually explicit stories about the kind of girls he was trying to meet online for casual sex. Despite me saying numerous times that I didn't want him to talk to
me about that subject, he continued, and his comments became more and more explicit. Based on the things he was saying, I started to become extremely concerned that I was not safe to be a female alone in his
taxi. He was truly predatory and sexually inappropriate, and this was honestly one of the most frightening experiences I have had using taxis in Melbourne.

Through out the drive the taxi driver was nice and polite, until he started to ask questions about if I had had any 'cuddles' on my night out - I laughed this off as it was just weird that he would ask that. He mentioned
these 'cuddles' a couple more times and told me how he was single and I was his last ride for the night.
When we got to my apartment block in Templestowe, I paid via credit card, before getting out of the cab he asked me whether I would like romantic cuddles with him! This is absolutely disgusting behaviour, and he
is a perfect example of the type of driver out there giving drivers a bad name. I really hope that this compliant get actioned in some as, as all I can say is I am glad the road I live on lit up as I ran across the road and
inside.

Complainant is a 39 year old female who states that she was picked up by a

Complaint relates to complainant and her disabled mother getting into taxi after attending a dental appointment at
Niddrie and within seconds of being in the taxi, complainant alleges that the driver

was making inappropriate comments - "Oh baby - Oh baby - where are we going?" and continued on saying that several times before we could answer. Whilst driving down Keilor Rd, driver proceeded to ask how we
were going to pay for the fare and whether they had cash as he needed to put petrol in his car. Complainant alleges the driver sounded quite demanding when asking if we had any cash. Complainant states straight
after driver asking about cash, the driver began to fondle and arrange his genital area in full view of complainant and her disabled mother on several occasions. Driver then began to say "Oh baby OH baby where are
we going? You're the princess of this area, you can direct me baby" Complainant states that it was at this point that her mother and her began to feel very threatened and uncomfortable and were ready to make the
driver pull over, however as they were not far from their destination they decided to remain in the taxi. Complainant stated that she started to wonder whether the taxi driver was under the influence of alcohol or
other substances whilst driving as he presented to be very skittish throughout the journey and was driving erratically.

While alone and intoxicated in the taxi from Mount Waverley to Glen Waverley on September 27th between the hours of 2:00am and 3:00am I was inappropriately touched without consent by the taxi driver. He
suggested to pull over as I was feeling quite nauseas due to the alcohol and whilst I was leaning out of the taxi he put his hand up my dress. He did this twice and the during the second time he moved his hand
passed my underwear towards my vagina, after which I squirmed away.
Due to these events I believe it necessary to have this taxi driver fired from his post and his licence revoked to avoid any similar or worse circumstances with other passengers in the future. I am not sure if this is his
first offence, but I strongly feel its imperative that it be his last.

I wish to make a formal complaint in relation to my cab driver that took me and my sister home from a night club early Sunday morning.
I got into the taxi at 1:45am near the night club miss Collins on the corner of Collins and Market Street, in the Melbourne CBD.
My sister was crying and unwell at the time as she had too much to drink so I wanted to get her home.
Firstly I was asked to pay for my fare upfront which the driver said was $63 I paid for the fare I told the driver it usually only cost $50 to get home however I wasn?t to concerned at this stage as the meter goes on and
if it turns out to be cheaper I?m refunded the difference.
On the way home from the city to my address above there wasn?t really any issues the driver seemed okay however I did notice that meter was not on still.
When I arrived at my home address my sister got out of the cab and went to the front door on the way she had dropped her jumper in the middle of the road this is when my experience become unpleasant, the
driver got out of the cab and I thought he came out to help me however when I was getting the jumper the driver put his arms around my shoulders pulling me closer to him and asked if he could kiss me, I told him
no then he continued to ask to kiss me and pulled me closer towards me I saw him coming in for a kiss and I turned my head and he kissed me on the cheek.
At this point I pushed him away and run to my sister, the cab driver then left.
I was extremely worried about my sister and that was my focus however once I realised what had happened I felt sick about the issue and thought what if I was in a bad state and not able to comprehend what was
happening or what if this driver does this to someone else or if this is something he does a lot.
Regardless I?m upset and this is completely inappropriate and on top of that the meter never came on at all and I was still charged the $63 for something that would have cost a lot less. However that is honestly not
even bothering me the driver cannot do this kind of thing and you all need to know about these issues as he is representing the taxi company.

As per phone conversation I have sent through details of inappropriate behaviour by taxi driver.
Incident:
On Thursday morning at 0000 hours on the Thursday 23rd of October, 2014 at the Flinders Street Station S 25 S 25 (D.O.B.: S 25 /1992 ) hailed a yellow taxi. At 0030hrs S 25 arrives in the

driver. The taxi driver gave her a hug while standing next to the taxi on the nature strip. The taxi driver then proceeded to kiss her on her neck and her mouth but she pushed him away and went inside her house.

The circumstances of the incident do not fit into the criminal offences field but it is cause for concern of the driver's inappropriate behaviour. S 25 was assertive in her decision to push him away but someone may

On Sunday night I caught a cab alone from Chapel Street after a few drinks. I sat in the front seat and told the driver

I want to lodge a complaint about the behaviour of driver S 25 . During a trip yesterday evening (December 4, approx 7:40pm-8:00pm, from Flinders Street Station to
) the driver began a

conversation with me, and repeatedly steered it towards sexual topics. I am not touchy about this kind of thing and have a high threshold, but this was completely out of line and it made me extremely
uncomfortable. These are some of the specific things the driver said: - After he asked me where I was going and I replied that I was going to my boyfriend's house, he asked who "the lucky man" was. - He then asked
me what I was going to be drinking at my boyfriend's house. I said that we wouldn't be drinking anything, and that neither of us drink much. The driver asked why, and I said that we're both into weighlifting and
drinking affects your performance. The driver then asked me whether weightlifting made women's breasts bigger. I said I didn't think so, trying to convey with my short answer and tone that this wasn't appropriate.
He persisted, repeating the claim a few times, telling me that Pamela Anderson's breasts grew after lifting, asking me if I'd seen pictures of her, etc. - He then asked me "When women are alone in groups, do you talk
dirty with each other?" By this point I was feeling extremely uncomfortable and somewhat unsafe. I said firmly "I am not discussing this with you." He persisted, repeating the question and I replied firmly again, "No,
seriously, I am not discussing this with you." He then again repeated the claim, and told me that he heard announcers talking on the radio about it, and people are very casual, so it was ok. I explained to him that he
was a taxi driver in a professional, work situation and that people don't behave in that way at work. This is not something I should have to explain. I would appreciate it if you could tell me what action will be taken in
response to my complaint.

I entered a taxi from a taxi queue at approximately 12.30am - 1.00am Sunday morning, I stated to the driver where i needed to go and how much money I had to pay, he said this was fine. Within minutes, the taxi
driver said to me "You know, you'd be suprised how many girls pay in 'favours.'" This statement that he made was not in any way initiated by me. I asked him what he meant by this, to which he responded, "Oh you
know. Favours. Like blow jobs and head jobs and stuff." I told him that that was not something that I would do and that I had already told him that I had money to pay. I asked him if this is something that he had
acted on him the past when passengers had offered sexual services in lieu of money to pay for taxi rides, he said yes.
I do not have the details of the taxi driver's authority number or name. He did drop me off outside the 7/11

This conversation as initiated by this taxi driver was grossly unprofessional and is sexual harrassment. Passengers have the right to feel safe when catching taxis at any time of the day and I was denied this right. This
man, when identified, needs to be reprimanded and either fired or retrained with sexual harrassment and assault addressed. He is obviously targeting inebriated young women travelling alone on weekends, who are
less likely to speak up to the authorities out of embarrassment or loss of memory after the incidents. This is incredibly inappropriate on many levels and I fully expect this man to be dealt with accordingly.

I want to state that I was extraordinarily uncomfortable and was not prepared at that time to be questioned in this manner. I felt my personal safety was jeopardized and I attempted to keep the conversation light
and direct to not provoke or arouse the driver.
The driver was extremely interested in discussing my sexuality.It began when he questioned the (female) friend who had put me in the taxi in the morning, wanting to know if I had 'stayed the night', if there were
'other people' etc. The questions began almost immediately.
Once established that I had a wife at home (he asked if I had a boyfriend at home waiting for me), the driver questioned how lesbians have sex, referring to normal sex as 'dick and pussy'. I tried to laugh it off and
avoid answering directly. I am a pretty easy going individual, however the nature of these questions were not innocent or a result of cultural indifference.
The driver then asked if I lick pussy, if lesbians lick each others pussy etc and continued for sometime asking about the nature of lesbian sex. He also asked if I had been with men, or something that indicated that was
what he was asking.
My responses were as appropriate as I could muster, again I did not want to anger or upset the driver. I should have communicated at the time that his conversation was entirely inappropriate but to be honest it was
new years day morning, I was very tired and I felt uncomfortable. I wanted to go home.
I also have a disability and if I had to exit the car or run, I would be unable to and be at the mercy of another driver to stop and help should anything have happened.
The tone and topic of the conversation for almost the entire duration of my journey was grossly out of line. It ended with the driver saying perhaps 2015 would be the year I would get a real dick. I said, I don't think
so.

I got into a

then asked if I had a boyfriend. I said yes. He asked where he was and why he wasn't here, if we lived together and why I wasn't going to his house. He then said he was single and that was sad. He went on to talk at
length about how he visited a brothel once a week and paid 200 for half an hour of sex, asking if I knew what and where a brothel was. He then asked if I liked sex and liked having sex with my boyfriend. I replied that
that was between me and my boyfriend. He asked why I wasn't going home to my boyfriend now. I was confused, sick and anxious from the conversation, and as I was sitting in the back seat, was more concerned
with getting out of the cab and didn't see the cab number.

Complainant advised that she is only 19. Complainant advised that she was picked up from

going about sexual activities and she immediately disengaged with the taxi driver. Complainant states that she is a regular taxi customer and relies on taxis but states after this incident she will be seeking other
transport. Complainant states she felt very uncomfortable and upset with this particular service.
I write in order to obtain information about what I can do in order to raise again the attention for the sexual assaults women have been facing.
I am Brazilian and I have been living here in Melbourne for 10 months. I am a frequent flyer because of my work and as a consequence I use the taxi systems a lot. Since the beginning I faced problems with taxi
drivers. Considering I moved from Brazil to Australia, considering I was getting used to the cultural differences and considering I was too busy to deal with the problems, at the first episodes I didn?t do any action. It is
impossible to measure how many times I felt unsafe and disrespected. However, the last assault made me feel extremely disrespected as a customer and insulted as a woman. Besides I was also overcharged three
times the regular price.

I am writing in order to make a formal complaint in regards the service provided on 20/Mar/2015 and also to ask a partial reimbursement considering the fact I was over-charged.
On 20/Mar/2015 I phoned S 35(1) and ordered a cab in order I could go to the Hospital (I woke up in the middle of the night really sick). I live in
short 2-km-car-drive (around 5 min distant).

The car arrived really fast in my place and I thought the journey would occur with no problems: I was wrong! During this short distance which I am used to do it, the driver took the opportunity that I am from
overseas, female and living in Australia not for a long time to ask me several personal questions which I considered inappropriate (here are some of the questions: if I had a boyfriend, if I had a partner, if I was
married, if I was living alone, if I had a working visa, what was my visa status, if I was working, which kind of job I had, etc).
He kept with his inconvenience by asking me if I would be interested in a deal which consisted of marrying one of his family members so he could benefit from my permanent residency visa and I could benefit from
the money I would receive (a good money according to him!). I was really shocked I was hearing that considering I was a costumer.
When the car stopped and I had to pay, I was so ill and on a hurry to enter the hospital that I didn't check the amount he was charging me. However I got really suspicious by the conversation he started by telling me
to go to the other hospital's entrance, otherwise the taxi drivers would charge me $50 (I had never heard that!). So I entered the hospital but I was still suspicious about that weird conversation towards the price.
Considering I used a card for paying and it is easily tracked in my statements, while I was still awaiting for the doctor's assistance, I entered my bank account and could confirm the taxi driver overcharged me! He
charged me $50 for a 2km car-drive distant which I am used, so I knew it was definitely an overcharging price. After 30min I ordered a Silvertop car from the Epworth Richmond Hospital to St Vincent Hospital in
Fitzroy (2.5 Km distance) and paid exact $14.49 (I have the invoice)! That same day I phoned 123Cabs and made a phone complaint. The person who served me asked me to submit an online complain. She gave the

I was walking home at approximately 1:08 am on Monday morning, I was only about two blocks away when a yellow coloured S 35(1) Cab pulled over and asked where I was going. I told him Lt Lonsdale St,
and was reluctant to take a ride as it was really not that far, however he offered to take me there for $5, and I figured I might as well. I assumed the driver was just trying to make some quick cash.
We drove up Elizabeth and turned right at Lt Lonsdale. Initially the driver asked me what I had been doing, I explained I had been at a friends watching TV, and he said I looked very nice tonight. He shook my hand
and introduced himself, his name started with a B or P, from what I can remember it sounded something like S 25. He told me he was from Pakistan.
While driving on Lt Lonsdale, he asked me if I would like to go to a Pakistani restaurant instead of going home. He emphasised that it would be Pakistani and not Indian. I said no, I just wanted to go home. He
persisted and said we could go the restaurant and he would take me home after. I repeated that I just wanted to go home and reiterated where my address was.
He then told me what he meant was that he was wanting to go on a date with me, I was already feeling very uncomfortable at this point. When I said no again, he said he wanted to take me on a date so he could
"explore me". We stopped at the corner of Swanston and Lt Lonsdale for a red light, and there was a man on the corner, at this point I was truly disgusted and considering jumping out of the car, but I was also very
scared the driver may come after me. I think the driver sensed how uncomfortable I was, as I was looking around at the camera and the door. He told me not to worry and that he would take me home.
On the last stretch of road, the driver then asked me how many boyfriends I had in the past, and if I was a "naughty girl" or a "behaved girl". I deflected the question by saying that I had a boyfriend. I asked him to
stop at my street, he told me he enjoyed taking me home, and that he did not want my money. I asked him if he was sure, as I was worried he was expecting something else, and he said no again, so I quickly got out.
I was not able to get the drivers number or anything as I was so panicked at the time, so all I know is the route we drove and what time, based on texts I sent on my phone.

I found his actions not only unprofessional but personally abhorrent and hope that this does not happen to another female getting home at 1am, and shudder to think of what this man would do if someone was

The rude comments were made throughout the trip from CBD to S 25 and made me feel immensely uncomfortable. I did not feel safe to ask him to stop.
In the past month I caught an Uber taxi for the first time and I cannot express just how professional the drivers are. I will no longer catch regular taxis. This is not the first time I have felt uncomfortable due to a taxi

The taxi driver i had last night was holding my hand for quite some time and would not let it go. I was scared to pull it away and tell him to stop in case he got aggressive towards me, and he had my home address
already so I could not tell him to drop me at another place. He was telling me that I was a beautiful girl, you are very beautiful etc. which made me feel very uncomfortable. He then wanted to pull the car over and
give me a hug, which I said no to. But he asked a few more times because I think he thought this would console me, however it had the opposite affect. I tried to take a photo which I have attached, it is not that
clear.
I need this guy to know that it is not okay to physically touch a passenger even if they are upset - there is a fine line and he crossed it. I did not feel safe, I felt like it could have ended a lot worse. He needs to know it
is not okay.

I had a very negative experience with a taxi driver on Friday 10.7.15 at approximately 11.30pm. It was a trip from Melbourne CBD to S 25 . It has taken me some time to get the courage to issue a complaint as he
had dropped me at my home and knows where I live. The driver made me feel very uncomfortable with a number of his comments:
- comments were made about drunk people having sex in the back of the taxi car, driver asked if I had ever done that.
- made comments about how sometimes he is invited into clients houses for a drink or for sex and that it is very common, although he 'would never accept sex in lieu of payment for a fare'.
- when it came time to pay he told me that the Eftpos machine had something wrong with it and he'd prefer cash. I replied that I only had $20, to which he said that would be fine and I could pay the remainder on
card. This felt very strange to me.
- I also felt that he overcharged as when I looked up the taxi fare estimate the max. I should've paid was $27. Instead I was charged $48.60. I understand that the estimates are just that - estimates - and I anticipated
variance from the estimate but not so much.

Summary
I was picked up from the elephant and wheelbarrow pub on the corner of Burke street and russell street in the CBD on Saturday morning 2:30am. When I got dropped at my destination the taxi driver refused
payment and insisted on a hug. I insisted on paying and as I was insisting the driver held my hand and started to kiss the whole way up my arm, I pulled my hand away and the driver was very inappropriate in his
language and he tried to kiss me.
