Service Technician – Shop Apprentice
Description: Intermountain Lift Truck is a growing equipment company and the authorized
dealer for CAT, Mitsubishi, Jungheinrich, and Lift Trucks in UT & ID. Our company is
expanding and we need more mechanics. We service all makes of forklifts and other types of
industrial equipment (Scissor lifts, Shooting Booms, Truck Mounted Cranes, Skid Steer). We are
hiring internal combustion, electric forklift repair technician/mechanics and entry level shop
apprentices. Company service van and phone provided for field technicians. Auto
Technicians/Auto Mechanics/Heavy Equipment Mechanics encouraged to apply. The applicant
will be responsible for safely and effectively repairing and servicing numerous types of forklifts
and other industrial equipment.
Key Job Duties:






Use safe practices during all job duties.
Diagnose / troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues accurately
Remove, replace, and repair major components of forklifts, scissor lifts, pallets jacks, and
other industrial equipment.
Perform routine services on equipment including fluid and filter replacement
Perform repairs in the field at customers location as needed
Use ladders, and work under and over industrial vehicles.
Education and Experience:





Detail oriented, organized, and able to work with a variety of employees and customers
Training/experience in the mechanical field a plus
Need basic computer skills
Requires own basic mechanic tools
Valid driver’s license
This is a full time position located with in Salt Lake City, UT. We offer Medical, Dental, Vision,
and other benefits. Monday to Friday schedule. Training will be provided on some key duties
