1. What’s happening to thermoscientific.com?
Thermo Fisher Scientific is retiring the thermoscientific.com website. Starting February 22,
the product and purchasing information available today on thermoscientific.com will be
incorporated into thermofisher.com. Thermoscientific.com will remain active until we retire
the site in April. At that time, any bookmarks or direct links you have to thermoscientific.com
pages will be automatically redirected.

2. What does this change mean to me?
This improvement will bring the Thermo Scientific™ portfolio of products and solutions
together with a number of our other leading brands—Applied Biosystems™, Invitrogen™,
Gibco™ and Ion Torrent™—on one website, creating a simplified online experience and one
place to access everything you need. After this online integration, you’ll still find the same
high-quality products and solutions on thermofisher.com—your choice for scientific
solutions. There are no changes to our products as a result of this online integration. There
is no change to the fishersci.com website nor to where or how you order these products.
3. What products will be available on thermofisher.com?
Thermo Scientific products and solutions available today on thermoscientific.com will
become available on thermofisher.com. However, these newly added products will not be
available to purchase online at thermofisher.com. Select Contact Us or Request A Quote on
the product or product family pages to find out how to place your order in your country.
4. Will there be any product changes?
No. Our products remain the same, reliable ones you’ve come to trust.
5. What’s happening to the Thermo Scientific brand?
There are no changes to the Thermo Scientific brand as a result of this online integration.
6. What’s happening to the Fisher Scientific and Unity Lab Services websites?
There are no changes to the Fisher Scientific or Unity Lab Services websites at this time.
Any links to thermoscientific.com from other websites will automatically be redirected to
thermofisher.com in April. Your fischersci.com login will not work on thermofisher.com.

7. How are you improving navigation on thermofisher.com?
We’re making it easier for you to find products through new product categories. The main
navigation drop-downs on thermofisher.com will be expanded to include links to more
products and product categories that better reflect all Thermo Fisher Scientific has to offer.
8. How are you improving the “search” feature on thermofisher.com?
The Search feature will yield more results than before because we will have integrated
content from thermoscientific.com into thermofisher.com. In addition, several new search
capabilities, including auto-correction and the ability to use recent searches, will help you
find our catalog products and information faster, more precisely and with greater ease.
9. How are you improving the “Contact Us” feature on thermofisher.com?
We’re making it easier for you to buy or learn where to buy products and ask questions. The
Contact Us feature on each product page or product family page will take you to direct or
distributor information for your country, making it easy to learn where to buy our products. A
“type-ahead” function will save you time selecting the product and type of support you need.
10. Will my thermofisher.com account login information still work?
Yes. Continue to sign in using your existing thermofisher.com username and password.
11. Will my thermoscientific.com or fishersci.com logins work on thermofisher.com?
No. Choose Sign In and then click Register (or go directly to thermofisher.com/register) to
create an account on thermofisher.com and to purchase our life sciences products.

12. What other improvements will I see?
You will see new product areas, educational content and upcoming events.
13. How do I change my location?
On the homepage, click Services & Support. Then click Change Location under Contact Us.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
14. Are catalog numbers changing?
Most of our catalog numbers are not changing as a result of this online integration. You will
be asked to confirm the product catalog number before adding it to your cart. In the event of
a duplicate catalog number, web messaging will enable you to select the correct product.
15. Can I order Thermo Scientific products online at thermofisher.com?
In many countries, several Thermo Scientific products are already available to order online
at thermofisher.com. These include molecular biology reagents and PCR plastics; protein
biology reagents, instruments and antibodies; and high-content screening instrumentation.
You will not be able to place online orders on thermofisher.com for products newly
added from the thermoscientific.com site. Click Contact Us to find current purchasing
options (direct or by distributor) available in your country, or click Request A Quote
and a representative will respond to your online inquiry.
Although you will see more product information online, the vendors you currently purchase
from remain the same. Continue to place orders for those products as you do today.
16. Are there changes to my Supply Center or hosted eCatalog?
No. There are no Supply Center or eCatalog changes as a result of this online integration.
DOING BUSINESS WITH US
17. Does vendor information change?
No. There are no changes to vendor information as a result of this online integration. The
vendor names and contacts that you currently purchase from today will remain the same.
Continue to submit purchase orders and payments to the same vendor using the same
contact information you do today. Vendor information for thermofisher.com online orders is
available at thermofisher.com/vendorsetup.
18. Are there changes to my authorized distributor or ordering processes?
No. Continue to order and purchase as usual.
19. Are there changes to my pricing?
No. There are no changes to pricing as a result of this online integration.
