FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We’re shedding light on the who, what, why, and where within our
parish. Look for the weekly highlight Q&A to learn more!
Question: Why do we have a separate Evensong service and what does
it mean?
Answer: Evensong is a sung Evening Pr ayer ; an evening wor ship ser vice and
evening prayer service featuring a choir. Christ Church, Norcross offers Evensong
the third Sunday of each month at 5:00pm. Evensong is an opportunity for folks to
experience the music and prayers of the Anglican Tradition.
YARN AVAILABLE TO MAKE PRAYER CLOTHS
We have beautiful prayer cloths made by Christ Church folks and blessed by our priests
in the parlor. We also have several skeins of yarn in the Parlor for volunteers who
would like to make prayer cloths to bless our Parish. Come to the Parlor after church if
you would like to receive a prayer cloth or if you are just curious to see our lovely
assortment of prayer cloths.
