The Hanhalla is the National Executive Committee of the Movement. It consists of the Mazkirut (elected by the previous year’s Hanhalla), the Shlichim and the Nivcharim. The role of the Hanhalla is laid down in the constitution. At Veida, all Mas Chaver paying Bogrim are eligible to vote for Nivcharim to sit on the Hanhalla. One of the primary functions of the Hanhalla as a whole is the appointment of the next year’s Mazkirut. Nivcharim should therefore realise that they are putting themselves forward in a position of supreme importance for the tnua. The necessity to appoint a suitable Mazkirut cannot be emphasised enough and all Nivcharim should be capable of making these decisions with a clear and unbiased mind, with Bnei Akiva’s best interests at heart. Please note that the Nivcharim body receive more votes than the Mazkirut body in a vote. For further enquiries about being a Nivchar/Nivcheret Hanhalla please contact [email protected]
