Eletta
Covering system with drive mechanism composed of gear train and cardan shaft drive
to mount on the cab guard top. Situated on the board wall side, at the rear part, we
mount a horizontal cable tensioner with D100 pulley included.
The drive mechanism of Eletta is fixed by drilling holes and using through bolts. Bows
and Tarp, already assembled delivered, are connected with the drive mechanism by
galvanized D6 steel cables which running 23 mm lower than the board wall upper edge
enable opening and closing of the covering.
We supply even “L”-shaped hooks for assuring the best hooking of bows and tarp
alongside the tipper body and preventing in case of wind a lifting of the covering.
Manually operated version
DRIVE MECHANISM AND COMPONENTS
• Manually operated drive mechanism equipped with adjustable operating rod with
safety handles.
• Electrically operated drive mechanism (24V and 12V): supplied with electromechanical
control unit IP55 (as an option IP67) complete with standard radio remote control for opening
and closing of the covering system. Available with standard motor mounted under the tarp.
• Cable run lowering device for D6 steel cables.
Eletta Covering system is supplied as a standard feature with cables running 23 mm lower
than the board wall upper edge. This device reduces the possibility of cable rupture during
sideways loading with work machines.
BOWS AND TARP
Electrically operated version
The covering tarp is tailor-made with different width and various bow heights as well as
according to customer’s choice of colour and material from a wide range as: STANDARD and
ADR PVC, BLACK SILICON (for asphalt transport) and MESH PVC. The lateral tarp length is
available in two variations: up to the upper edge of the board wall or hanging hermetically over
the upper edge by 130 mm. If requested the lateral tarp length can be supplied even longer.
Bows and covering tarp are delivered already preassembled with the tarp rod lifting system,
which enables a proper closing of the tarp and its safeguard from wear and tear.
All components of the covering tarp (bows, bow supports, rod tarp lifting system, steel
cables), if requested, can be made of stainless steel.
OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
• Tarp Moving Back Card
A device suitable for vehicles with hydraulic rear door. This card enables the covering tarp
to move automatically a few meter back when the operator activates the power take-off
(PTO) for unloading and it prevents covering system components to be damaged while
opening the hydraulic rear door.

• Automatic Rear Closing
The Automatic Rear Closing is a mechanical device which enables a perfect tarp closing
at the tipper body rear side.
• Rollplanner
The Rollplanner-System consists of a rear PVC tarp roller, which, mounted on the
pulling bow of the covering system, has inner springs for self-rolling up. If requested
available as removable version.
• Windsafe Hooking System
The windsafe hook replaces the classic lateral “L”-shaped hook and is recommended for
covering systems used in windy area. The Windsafe Hooking System consists of a lateral
“Z”-section profile with the swinging hook sliding on it to assure a firmly fixing of the
covering tarp even while opening and closing it.
Folded Hermetic Tarp
• Mobile Hooking System
The Mobile Hooking System makes it possible to mount several “L”-shaped hooks on
the same level and assures, in case of wind, a stronger hooking of the covering tarp
on the tipper body. The mobile stop lever fixed on the body rotates 180° in horizontal
direction and enables the crossing of several “L”-shaped hooks of equal length as
well as to mount a greater number of them than for a standard covering system.
