At the 8th European Freeski Open, the slopestyle contest for

Catholic parish church: “Maria Himmelfahrt”. The renovation of
the church led to the discovery that there had been at least four key
building stages involving previous churches on the current site of
the Marienkirche in Sagogn. The oldest dates back to the 4th or 5th
century. The ground plan of the church has remained identical for

In Trin Mulin guests will find an alternative to the hectic skiing on the mountain.
The very diverse 17 km-length double-track cross-country skiing trail offers fitness
and relaxation at the same time – using the classic and skating techniques. An
ideal terrain for lovers of recreational and competitive cross-country skiing alike.

your exertions the Ustria Parlatsch, directly next to
the trail, tempts you with Graubünden specialities or

leads through the snow-covered winter forest, via the
Cresta Lake to Flims and after a spectacular view into

THE SAFE BET
is the 7.5 km long trail, that lies in the wonderful high
valley in Bargis.
FOR NIGHT OWLS, WE RECOMMEND
the 3 km long night trail. For those who do not have
time during the day, there is an illuminated night trail
three times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
evening from 6 pm to 9.30 pm).
On 9 December, 6 January, 3 February and 5 March, the
Trin Tourist Information Office will be holding guided
full-moon snow shoe walks.

TRIN – A VILLAGE WITH TRADITIONS
Trin, the cosy village with its three areas Trin, Trin-Digg
and Trin-Mulin, is situated on a wonderful sun terrace
at the gate to the Surselva. Hourly buses connect the
holiday village with Chur (12 km) and Flims (5 km).
The castle ruins of Canaschal and Crap Sogn Parcazi
tower above the village and point to the historic
background of Trin.
Every Friday morning in the bakery at Trin-Digg, called
“pastrin”, fresh bread is baked in the wood oven.
Spectators, stokers or baking assistants are welcome
at any time. The women of Trin would be pleased to
show you how to bake your own “original Digg wood
oven bread ”. You can enquire about the next baking
sessions at the Trin Tourist Information Office.

SAGOGN – SMALL BUT PERFECTLY FORMED
Our unspoilt and family-friendly village at the edge of
the large ski area of Flims Laax Falera offers everything
for a relaxing holiday. Away from the transit traffic
but nevertheless close to the ski area, here you will
find everything you are looking for, for a carefree and
relaxing holiday. The surrounding panorama with the
luminous mountain ridges allows you to enjoy the
peace.
WINTER WALKS IN UNIQUE NATURE
The spacious network of winter hiking trails above
the “ Plaun da Sagogn” leads as far as Schluein and
invite you to walk through the snowy winter landscape
in all weathers. Even children are catered for: behind
the church there is a prepared practice slope for
tobogganers and bobsleighers. As the paths are largely
flat and lie in sunny areas, even elderly guests feel
comfortable. The winter hiking trails are signed in pink
and, like the turquoise blue-signed trails, are regularly
and very well maintained. The Postauto bus stop “vitg
dado” and car parks are only a few metres from the
start and end of the trail at the Canzlia communala
(town hall).
