Level 1 Bulletin: Thursday, 14 March Dear Parents Thank you to all the parents who have returned the “Acceptable Use Agreement” to their child’s classroom teacher. We do require these back as soon as possible. There are quite a few exciting special days coming up so please make sure your diary is up to date for: Friday 15th March: Crazy Hair Day (gold coin donation) and Icy Pole Day ($1) Monday 18th March: Parent Helpers session 2.15 -3.15 in the Performing Arts Room Tuesday: 19th March: Assembly and Footy Day (Dress up in Team colours) Wednesday 20th March: School Photos/No assembly Thursday 21st March: Buddy Picnic Buddy Picnic: The children will depart school at 11.30am and walk with their Buddies to Union Street Park. All children must bring their lunch, drink bottle and hat. Please ensure your child wears suitable footwear. If it rains, we will have our Buddy Picnic at school. Please remind your child that we do not share food at school – even with our Buddies! Literacy: Tongue Twisters and rhymes are fun to say and provide fabulous opportunities to develop literacy skills in phonemic awareness, appreciation of alliteration, rhyming words and improve pronunciation. Have a go at reciting: Red lorry, yellow lorry, red lorry, yellow lorry…..repeat the words as many times as you can!
