Lasallian Heritage Week 2016
Lasallian Heritage Week is a week devoted to the awareness of our Lasallian Heritage. This
began in 2006 by Janell Kloosterman and Judy McCarty as a final project for their completion of
study from the Lasallian Leadership Institute. Since that time, many of our Lasallian schools in
North America have adopted the idea for their own schools. The students in Lasallian Youth are
responsible for the organization of the week and the Lasallian formation that helps in this
awareness.
Each day of the week is devoted to a Lasallian Core Principle. Each day will include specific
prayer and a formation piece. And each day will include a community building activity. All
clubs and organizations at Mullen are encouraged to participate.
Monday Respect For All Persons
Dress: White or peace shirts/ jeans
Heritage Education (formation): District Day

5. 1st period Color Challenge: Hall decorating contest (20 minutes, basic supplies provided,
but students are encouraged to bring as many decorations as they wish)

3. NHS to make available “street treat” bags for students to pick up and distribute.

• Cupcake Club will sell designer cup cakes with BLACKBERRIES for MISSION
