Connex Credit Union Expands Membership to Fairfield County
North Haven, Conn. (Jan. 8, 2016) – Connex Credit Union, one of Connecticut’s largest credit unions,
announced today that it has been granted approval from the State of Connecticut Department of Banking to
expand its membership to include Fairfield County.
Connex Credit Union’s membership is available to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in New
Haven, Hartford, or Middlesex County, and now includes Fairfield County.
“Fairfield County residents will now be able to enjoy our competitive loan and deposit products, online and
mobile banking, investment and retirement services, and the Connex member advocacy program,” said Frank
Mancini, president and CEO, Connex Credit Union. “Additionally, this growth represents an opportunity for us
to expand our community outreach through the ConnexCares philanthropic program. We look forward to
becoming a part of the community and welcoming our new members.”
Mancini added that there are no immediate plans to open a branch location in Fairfield County. “We’re
currently evaluating our options, but members have the ability to open accounts through our website today
and to use our mobile application to get all their account information, transfer funds and even make
deposits.”
