The GE Program is an opportunity for teams of university students to build solutions to real-world industrial challenges. Teams will have unprecedented access to GE business expertise and industry insights, as well as receive intensive training in areas such as Design Thinking, Change Management and Predix - GE’s software platform for the Industrial Internet. A U T H E G E N E R AT O R 2 3 Selection Criteria In order to participate in The Generator Summer Program, applicants must be an Australia Resident and student, over 18 years of age or International Student currently living in Australia with a valid Student Visa, over 18 years of age. Currently we are only accepting applications from students enrolled at We will announce the Western Sydney University, University of New South Wales, University of successful applicants Sydney and University of Technology, Sydney and in approved courses listed on the Friday, in the drop down below. Participating students are responsible for ensuring November 18, 2016. that they satisfy their course and placement requirements, e.g. required hours, as advised by their university. As the three-month program will be at our space in Redfern, participants will need to reside or be able to reside in the Sydney area for the length of the program (November 28th 2016 – February 24th 2017). Individuals or teams of up to four people can apply. Please note each individual team member must complete an application. Initial applications will be assessed on their suitability for the program based on technical skills/knowledge and questionnaire responses. After receiving your application, short-listed teams and individuals will be invited to attend our assessment on either the 16th or 17th November 2016. Please note short-listed teams will be interviewed and assessed as a group. Shortlisted applicants will be evaluated on: - L eadership experience and skills - W illingness and ability to work well in a team - U nderstanding and sharing of GE values - D emonstration of technical skills and knowledge - Demonstration of entrepreneurial thinking and ability to think creatively - A vailability and enthusiasm for program Where appropriate successful individuals may be matched with other teams or individuals to form a team. In order to satisfactorily complete The Generator Summer Program, participants must adhere to the below requirements: - A ttendance at all boot-camp training unless previously organised with Program Administrators - S atisfactory completion of final project as deemed by Lead Mentors - A dherence to code of conduct and satisfactory contribution to your team and the program program overview Tr a i n i n g This is a unique opportunity to get access to some great training modules, led by experienced GE teams.
