Departure at 6:50 AM from AMTRAK STATION in MEMPHIS
(Can carpool from Jonesboro – First Security Bank to Memphis at 5:00 am)
DAY 1: Train ride to city of New Orleans. You will enjoy breakfast and lunch on you own in the dining car.
Transfer to check into the French quarter hotel where you will stay for 3 nights. Enjoy dinner at a Famous Cajun
Seafood Restaurant. Walk back to hotel.
DAY 2: After Continental Breakfast at hotel, board riverboat for cruise on Mississippi River including lunch.
Later, enjoy a City Tour of New Orleans by bus and then free time on your own for shopping and dinner.
DAY 3: Ride historic trolley to WWII museum and I-MAX Theater. Lunch and shopping on your own. If you
go into Harrah’s Casino, (optional) huge buffet is included. Walk back to hotel.
DAY 4: Free time for Beignets at Café’ DuMond and other things before we transfer back to the Train station and
board our train for ride back to Memphis and chat about your great experiences.
