Thank you for purchasing our product. For your safety, and optimal use of this device, we ask You to
carefully read the instructions manual.

Safety Notice
To prevent any potential accident, please operate centrifuge according to the following safety protocol:
1. Unplug the main power cord, when performing maintenance or when centrifuge is expected not
being used for a long period of time.
2. Load the rotor with samples arranged symmetrically.
a. Opposing tubes must be of equal weight. If necessary, use water blank tubes to balance
sample tubes of unequal weight.
b. Do not conclude that the tubes are balanced by sight or over volume. Use the pan balance
provided in the centrifuge room for balancing tubes in rotors for the centrifuge.
3. Never exceed the maximum designed rotor speed!
4. Never use the rotor that appears to be damaged!
Function
MICE8 centrifuge is used for samples separation only. User will first put the test solution into the tubes or
bottles, then put these into the centrifuge to make a physical separation as per different densities of
components of this sample based on setting certain parameters (speed/RCF and time). Finally the users
extract the ingredient which they need.

Unpacking
Please check whether there is any damage on the package as soon as you receive the centrifuge, and if
so, contact your distributor immediately. If there are none, unpack the equipment, and check all of the
components carefully. If you find something to be missing, contact the distributor.
Installation
The centrifuge should be installed on a stable working station, and allow its four rubber feet to touch even
surface of the table. Insert one head of the power plug into the socket which mounted on the rear of the
centrifuge, and insert another head of the plug into the power supply socket.
Attention: the power supply socket must be connected with earth in order to prevent injury.
Operation
1. Before using the centrifuge, check whether the round nut connecting the rotor and the centrifuge
is fastened well.
2. Prepare the test tubes; put the test liquids into the tubes, checking whether they are in the same
level with your eyes.
3. Load tubes on the tube rack symmetrically. Otherwise, it will be resulted in severe vibration in the
process of centrifuging.
4. Close the lid and make sure that it is locked.
5. Set parameters.
The time and the speed will be showing on the panel, switches and buttons as the following figure:

Speed Set
Press (2) “SEL” button until the position “A 1 x 3100” starts to flicker on the screen, and then press
adjustment button
to increase the speed and press
to decrease it. This adjusts the selection range
from 0 rounds per minute to maximum of 4000 rounds per minute.
Time Set
Press (2) “SEL” button until the position “04:39” starts to flicker in the digital window, and then press
adjustment buttons

, so you can make the time selection range from 0 minutes to 99 minutes.

Acceleration and Deceleration
When you press (2) “SEL” button until the position “2” in the above picture flickers, then press buttons
and
to adjust acceleration and deceleration. The standard selection is factory setting b5, so
customers generally do not need to adjust this option.
Starting The Centrifuge
Press the START button, the start indicator will brighten, the centrifuge starts to work. The speed window
will show the current speed. The time window will begin to count down. Press the RCF button in the
process of operation and the speed window will show you the current RCF; 10 seconds later, it will return
to show the speed.
Stopping The Centrifuge
When the time window counts down to 0 (or you press the stop button), stop indicator will light up, and
the speed will be down to 0, the centrifuge will stop running.
Opening The Lid
Open the lid by pressing the button on the side which releases the hatch. Take out the tubes, centrifuge
is finished working.
Power Off
Press the down side of the switch button, now the panel is cut off, but the whole machine is not powered
off. If you stop using the machine, you should take out the plug from the power supply socket.
Storing
In case You are not using MICE8 centrifuge for a while, store it in a dry and dark place, to prevent exposure
to moisture and sunlight which may negatively impact future work with this equipment. Make sure that
it is covered against the dust, and unplugged from the socket.
