Every so often we’re reminded just how fortunate we are to do what we do. This
time, that reminder came in the form of a heavenly chocolate tartlet from Opera
Patisserie in San Diego. It’s made with fresh raspberries, rich, creamy chocolate
(the kind that has just the right amount of sweetness) and a dark cocoa, short bread
cookie crust that adds a pleasant, unexpected crunch to every bite.
What’s more, it’s sprinkled with real gold leaf flakes that are as easy on the eyes as
