With your generous support, our net proceeds from Auction 2017 exceeded $170,000! The money raised at Sweet Home St. Paul: Auction 2017 enables us to continue to provide an excellent and well-rounded, faith-based education for students at St. Paul Catholic School. School Committee Liaison—Maureen Juip (313)952-4500 • • The School Committee is an advisory body of parents who volunteer to meet monthly with the principal and also have additional standing committee meetings as needed on Faith Formation, Marketing, Curriculum and Technology, Facilities, Handbook, and Finance. There can be additional ad hoc committees as special issues arise such as web site design. Committees can include interested parents besides School Committee members. There are openings for the School Committee each spring as the members' terms are staggered. Each member takes a turn as a liaison for one month during the school year to field any questions parents may have. The names and phone numbers are also listed in the school handbook as well as the school directory. Feel free to contact one of us. Scrip • • • Remember to use Scrip….. Teacher Requests • It is the policy of St. Paul Catholic School to allow parents to make a confidential request for a particular classroom placement as well as to let the administration know your concerns regarding placement with, or separation from, other students. All requests must be in writing on the form provided. All requests must be received by May 1st. Late registrants may not make requests. All requests will be carefully considered, but not all requests can be honored. The school administration is responsible for ensuring that all classes are balanced as far as size, numbers of boys and girls, ability levels, behavior, etc. Concerns for individual children must be balanced with the needs of the school as a whole. Weather • As our weather is changing and the possibility of school closing, please check channels 2, 4, and 7 News for school closings. We will be listed under St. Paul on the Lake Catholic-GPF.
