CUSTOM SURFBOARD RAFFLE
Win a custom SHULER surfboard by giving $1 for support of
Oregon’s ocean water testing program.
Surfrider Foundation - Oregon Chapter announces a custom
surfboard raffle. Surfboard shaper, Lanny Shuler of Seaside, Oregon has
generously donated his surfboard design expertise and innovative materials
to customize a surfboard for the raffle winner. Shuler’s shaping history and
philosophy have been recently chronicled on the OregonSurf.com website
on the NW Shapers page:

absolute perfectionist...not that anyone or anything is perfect, he just strives
to make the most appropriate board for each individual using the newest
technology.” The raffle winner will receive a personal consultation with Shuler
so he can design and build their personalized ideal board.

Performance* in Portland www.gorgeperformance.com. Their Shuler
inventory includes high performance longboards to diversely-sized summer
“eggs” as well as shortboards for fall and winter. You can also see the latest
Shuler designs at his shop on Highway 101 just south of Seaside or even
just stop by for a tour of the factory. You can test ride a Shuler board from
either Gorge Performance or the Shuler Shop.
All money raised will go to benefit the Central Coast (Lincoln City and Newport) and Pacific City water
quality monitoring campaign of Surfrider Foundation – Oregon Chapter. The raffle will end in a
public drawing on September 14th at the Portland Surfrider meeting at Pizza Schmizza at 1442
NE Broadway. You do not have to be present at the drawing to win. Tickets are $1.00 each with no
limitation on number of entries, and are available at the following locations:
