Breath in. Yawns, glissando down.
Straws
Deep breath, blow “bubbles into a milkshake straw”
Deep breath, use the “straw” to draw a spiral on your hand.
Deep breath, use the “straw” to draw a spiral on someone else’s hand.
Bug Sirens
First sing sirens (weeeee glissando down).
Sirens can also make the sounds of Frisbees (throw in air).
Other sounds fffrrah, rrrah, zhee, lorr.
Then sing sirens using loose lips making a “trumpet sound”
Pretend you are catching a bug. Your hand moves up and down in the air.
Your sirens match the direction of the hand – high to low, fast and slow.

Aristotle lost his bottle
The whole line is sung on do, moving up a semitone each time. Rhythm is
all titi’s (quavers). [4 syllables per note]
Aristotle lost his bottle when he spied an axolotl.

Loosen body and posture.
Use solfa to aid tuning.
Move up a semiton each time.
Lyrics: I lo-ve to sing. Or My Car Has a Ding (show ding with hand)
Arpeggios: s d’ s m d
Oh what a beautiful day and I love to sing
Start on do (all on same pitch) moving up by semitones.
Use different dynamics each time. mp, f, p etc
