Metro routes serving UC East (Medical) Campus
Metro*Plus – Direct service between the Kenwood/Blue Ash area including Kenwood
Towne Centre, XU, Uptown including University of Cincinnati and Downtown including
The Banks. Uses limited stops and more frequency for faster service with specially branded
shelters and buses. Serves the new Uptown Transit District for connections to many other
Metro routes. Weekday service approximately every 15 minutes between
6 a.m. and 6 p.m. and every 30 minutes until 10 p.m.
Rt. 19 – service between downtown, Uptown and the Northside, Mt. Airy, and Groesbeck
communities. Buses run approximately every 40 minutes between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. seven
days a week.
Rt. 24 – service between Downtown, Uptown and the Mt. Auburn, O’Bryonville, Hyde Park,
Mt. Lookout, Linwood, Mt. Washington and Anderson Township communities. Buses run
approximately every 30 to 40 minutes between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays and every
20 to 40 minutes on weekends. This route does not go through downtown.
Rt. 38X – crosstown express (limited stops) service to Uptown from the Glenway Crossing
Transit Center and Park & Ride, serving the Westwood, North Fairmount, Camp Washington
and Mt. Auburn communities. Serves the new Uptown Transit District with connections to
many other Metro routes. Buses make only six a.m. and six p.m. trips on weekdays. This
route does not go through downtown or operate on weekends.
Rt. 46 – service from downtown to Uptown hospital area and the Mt. Auburn, Corryville
and Avondale communities. Serves the new Uptown Transit District with connections to
many other Metro routes. Buses run approximately every 30 minutes between 7 a.m. and
7 p.m. weekdays and every 45 minutes on weekends.
Rt. 51 – crosstown service to Uptown from the Glenway Crossing Transit Center and Park
& Ride, serving the Westwood, Northside, Mt. Auburn, Evanston, Norwood, Hyde Park and
Oakley communities. Buses run approximately every 45 minutes between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Monday through Saturday. This route does not go through downtown.
Rt. 78 – service between downtown, Uptown and the St. Bernard, Elmwood Place, Bond
Hill, Carthage, Hartwell, Wyoming, Woodlawn and Springdale communities. Buses run
approximately every 15 to 30 minutes weekdays between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and every 30
to 45 minutes on weekends.
