Normal behavior:
Both are calm and relaxed. Their colors can change to either brown or green.
Jabba is considerably larger than Princess Leia.
Princess Leia sometimes makes a loud calling sound which is normal.
Signs of stress or discomfort:
In frogs, medical issues can indicate stress as the underlying issue so look for the same symptoms from
the medical issues category in order to detect stress or discomfort.
Abnormalities: Other than Jabba’s size, none at this time. This can include irregular growths or lumps
on body, scars, missing toes. If you notice an abnormality contact a keeper and fill out animal incident
report and turn in following reporting procedures.
Medical issues: None at this time. Things to look for include abnormal bone structure, hazy or cloudy
eyes, weight loss, abrasions or open wounds on the skin, complete inactivity or unresponsiveness,
abnormal color changes such as a reddening of the skin. If you notice any of these symptoms, contact a
keeper and fill out animal incident report and turn in following reporting procedures.
