Recipe for Prežganka:
Ingredients:
2 spoons of butter
3 spoons of flour
1l of cold water
1 spoon of cumina
A pinch of popper
1or2 eggs
Prežgana is a traditional Slovenian soup
from Ptuj. This soup was originally made
by housewifes from a little village,
when they needed to cook for 5 or more
family members. Because they were
quite poor they only had these
ingredients from the field.
