Drug Screening

Drug Screening
Definition
Info Cubic’s drug testing solutions support the screening of applicants and employees based on the unique needs
of your risk mitigation program and safety protocols. Screening sample options include urine, oral fluid, hair and
blood. Test panels can be completely customized to your specifications, and available test types include lab-based
or point of collection (instant).
Availability of sample and test types will be dependent upon State and Federal law.
Recommended For
Any organization with a drug free workplace policy, regardless of size or industry, in addition to those mandated
to drug test applicants and employees under Federal requirements, such as the Department of Transportation
(DOT).
Scope
Info Cubic can help you test for any drug, in any manner you require, in accordance with applicable State and
Federal laws and regulations. We partner with all major drug screening collection networks and laboratories to
ensure there is always a convenient testing location near you.
In addition, Info Cubic will also coordinate Medical Review Officer services, electronic reporting options,
electronic chain of custody (COC) forms and most importantly, world-class customer service. As a premier
employment screening company, Info Cubic is truly a one stop shop for all your employment screening needs.
Turnaround Time
24 – 72 hours (Turnaround time will vary based on test panel, sample type and initial results.)
Process
Candidate will proceed to collection site with their photo ID and either an electronic donor pass generated from
our site or with a paper chain of custody form provided to them by your organization. The donor will donate their
specimen, or it will be collected with the assistance of a trained phlebotomist if necessary. The donor’s specimen
will either be shipped to the lab for testing or be tested onsite. If the initial test is non-negative, whether tested
onsite or at the lab, further testing will occur to confirm the finding.
Results will be transmitted to the Medical Review Officer (MRO) for review. If non-negative, the MRO will reach
out to the candidate to complete an interview verifying if there is a medical explanation for the result. Final
results will posted to The Cube for review by your organization.
Results Guidelines
Reporting must comply with State and Federal law. The content of the MRO interview will not be released to the
employer or potential employer. If the candidate has a medical explanation that the MRO is able to verify, the
result will be reported as negative. If the candidate does not return calls to the MRO, the results will be reported
as positive noting the donor did not speak with the MRO. The donor does have the opportunity to dispute the
findings. Consultation with qualified legal counsel is recommended for all employment law matters.
