What is the Intermediate
Gynaecology Service?
This is a community based service
run by CV Health in partnership
with the NHS.
CV Health is a company which
was set up by two GP-led
companies, Chiltern Health and its
north Bucks sister company, Vale
Health. Our aim is to provide
Buckinghamshire-wide
intermediate and primary care
services supported by Practices
across the county, and to pool
resources for major service
requirements, such as Care
Quality Commission registration.
We will make sure that you are
seen by the right person for the
assessment and treatment of your
problem.
How the Service works
You have been referred by your GP to
a local, specialist gynaecology clinic.
Your referral will be assessed quickly
and we will contact you to let you
know the details of your appointment
at our clinic.

is based at the Penn Surgery.
Please try to arrive at the Surgery five
minutes before your appointment and

We welcome any questions or
comments you may have about
the service. Please contact us on
the number provided or

You may be asked to fill in a
patient satisfaction questionnaire
after your appointment. This will
help us to maintain standards and
improve the service for patients.
These feedback forms are always
available at our clinics so please
feel free to request one from staff.
If you require an interpreting
service, please can you bring a
member of your family or friend
along to your appointment. Please
