Dissertation and Projects based units.
Where a dissertation or project based unit needs to be repeated then the Department will need to clarify the start and end dates of the
unit, provide justification for the time needed to complete the work and, by signing this form, confirm supervision and attendance
monitoring will take place. This is because if a unit to be repeated will have a longer timescale than the original attempt (for example; unit
length at first attempt is 3 months, but unit length at re-sit is 1 year), then UKVI requirements may require the university to justify this
disparity, or the student may be required to return home to finish the unit.
