Focused on Legal Knowledge Management (LKM/KM) and technology solutions,
Patty fully understands the impact legal costs have on businesses. Patty has been
able to partner with clients to enhance efficiencies and create customized
approaches and best practices for their in-house litigation teams and joint defense
counsel.
Patty puts clients first and is dedicated to delivering affordable results-driven legal
services. As the liaison attorney to a large corporate client dealing with multi-state
litigation and class actions, she works with them on flexible billing structures,
alternative fee arrangements, legal process outsourcing (LPO), and the creation of
virtual law firms with over 25 outside counsel firms located throughout the United
States and abroad.
Patty is a graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law and holds a Masters
degree in Education /Counseling. A certified mediator, Patty understands risk
assessment, people, and business relationships. She negotiates cost effective and
innovative resolutions.
Community engagement is important to Patty and she actively supports pro bono
efforts for those in need. Patty has chaired non-profit boards and served as an
officer in a Council Section of the North Carolina Bar Association.
