We understand that you have a choice of Summer Camps and we are grateful you have chosen Camp
Keyspot. I am confident your child will have a great time this summer. Attached you will find all you need to
register for Camp Keyspot 2013.
Please return this packet along with your 1st Payment by May 16, 2014.
Early Camp Registration being accepted until May 16, 2014

Here are few DO’S for the summer…
• DO have your child at camp by 9:00am for morning meeting whenever possible
• DO pack a lunch everyday
• DO put sunscreen on your child everyday
• DO pack a water bottle for your child everyday
• DO Sign your child IN and OUT on the computer as well as the sheet. (We’ll help you
with this one on the first day)
• DO have a dedicated SWIM BAG for swim days (Towel, Suit, Snack, Water Bottle,
Sunscreen)

able to choose their Station on a daily basis during Morning Countdown.

Pirates to Carnival, wacky theme weeks await your Camper.

Super Stations
What are Super Stations?
– Super Stations are super-cool, awesome, fantastic, marvelous, incredible (and any other kind
of superlative you want to add) stations that your child will be able to choose from in the
mornings at Camp Keyspot. They can stick with one or two for the summer or they can try them
all. It’s their choice. This much is true; your child will have a great time with whichever one
they choose…because they’re all SUPER!(sorry I couldn’t help myself)

Big Bang Science Gang
o Your camper will have a blast with creative, fun and exciting science projects.
Your camper will tell you all about the fun they had with this Super Station. Just
do us a favor and try not to mention that it’s also educational…we wouldn’t want
the kids getting the wrong ideas!
Artsy Schmartsy
o Your young artist will be able to “get their Art on” with this Super Station.
Different mediums and projects to draw out your child’s creative side. Craft
projects will also be thrown in for good measure!
Sports Fanatic
o Great for your camper/athlete. Some sports on the agenda are deck hockey,
homerun derbies, flag football, ultimate Frisbee, punt pass and kick competitions
and much more.

Iron Chef Keyspot
o Fun and delicious at the same time, your camper will cook different recipes from
different cultures as well as those ‘Just like mom” recipes.
Dig It
o Your little green thumb will help plant, maintain, and decorate the Keyspot garden.
Your child will enjoy watching their plants grow and will love harvest time when
they will literally “enjoy the fruits of their labor”.
Sports Fanatic

I hereby grant my consent to Parkmead Keyspot, Inc. to accompany my child
away from the Parkmead School Site for such activities as fieldtrips,
overnighters, and swimming. I grant my permission for my child to be transported
by foot, bike, chartered bus, public transportation, or by private automobile when
notified. I understand that any private automobile, and its driver, used to transport
my child, will have insurance that meets or exceeds those standards used by the
Walnut Creek School District Guidelines.
