Complimentary registration for the 2017 Multidisciplinary Thoracic Cancers Symposium is provided for professional
journalists representing media organizations for the express purpose of gathering news and information to produce
press coverage of the meeting, as well as public information officers from educational institutions, government
agencies and nonprofit cancer research organizations presenting research at the Symposium. A full list of press

All abstracts to be presented at the 2017 Multidisciplinary Thoracic Cancers Symposium are under embargo until
8:00 a.m. Pacific time on Thursday, March 16, 2017. This embargo policy applies to all abstracts regardless of
whether information is obtained from another source. Failure to abide by the embargo policy may result in
suspension of credentials at the 2017 Multidisciplinary Thoracic Cancers Symposium and may impact the ability to
receive advance media materials for future meetings.
MEDIA RESOURCES
Registration includes access to all Symposium abstracts and admission to all scientific sessions and the Exhibit
Hall. Press badges, which are required to access sessions and the Exhibit Hall, will be available in the on-site press
office. Badges are non-transferrable.
Registration also includes access to the digital press kit, including embargoed news releases. Information on virtual
access to news briefings at the Symposium will be provided in early March. Audio and slides will be posted after
each briefing at www.astro.org/thoracicpress.
