The team name was selected after nearly 60,000 votes were cast after the month-long “Name the Team” contest yielded six finalists. A tenacious oyster is the centerpiece of the identity, seen both in the club’s primary logo, home and alternate caps. The letters “BS” to make up the road cap designation - the Biloxi Lighthouse logo, resiliently rising above historic storm waters. Gulf Blue, Sand, Coral, and Black make up the club’s new official colors, paying tribute to the Gulf Coast. The Shuckers are the first professional sports team to use this color combination. Subero led the Huntsville Managing Career Team Stars to a 77-63 record and a postseason berth last season. GCL Rangers Prior to joining the Brewers, Subero managed five seasons in the Dodgers organization at Class-A Inland Empire (2009), Double-A Chattanooga (2010-12) and Class-A Rancho Cucamonga (2013). He led the Lookouts to the playoffs in 2011 after clinching the Southern League’s second-half North Division title with a 4227 record after the All-Star break. During his only season as a manager in the White Sox organization, Subero led Double-A Birmingham to a 74-63 record and a Southern League playoff berth in 2008. His clubs reached the postseason in each of his three seasons with Clinton. Subero owns a 871-914 (.488) record over 13 seasons as a minor-league manager. Coach, Sandy Guerrero Guerrero, 48, enters his 13th season as a coach in the Brewers organization. He previously coached at Double-A Huntsville (2003-08, 2014) and Triple-A Nashville (2009-11). In addition, he spent two seasons as hitting coordinator from 2012-13. Guerrero served as manager for the Northern Division in the 2007 Southern League All-Star Game after scheduled manager Don Money pulled out of the contest to coach in the All-Star Futures Game. Another career highlight came in July 2009 when he served as the pitcher for Brewers first baseman Prince Fielder during the MLB Home Run Derby in St. Louis. Fielder won the contest. Before coaching, Guerrero had a 19-year playing career that included stints in the minor leagues with Toronto and Milwaukee. He also played professionally in Mexico, Taiwan and the independent Northern League. The former infielder played in the Brewers’ farm system with Class-A Stockton (1986-88), Double-A El Paso (1989-90) and Triple-A Denver (1991-92). In 1998, Guerrero won a league championship in Taiwan, claiming the batting title with a .361 batting average. Guerrero’s father, Epy, was a renowned Major League scout in the Dominican Republic, while his brother, Mike, is the first base coach with the Brewers. Sandy and his wife, Jessica, reside in Huntsville, Alabama. Pitching Coach, Chris Hook Hook, 46, is in his eighth season in the Brewers organization. He served as pitching coach at Double-A Huntsville each of the past three seasons. Hook originally joined the organization as pitching coach at Huntsville in 2008, and spent three seasons in the same role with Class-A Wisconsin from 2009-11 before returning to Huntsville (2012-14). This past offseason, he served as pitching coach with the Glendale Desert Dogs in the Arizona Fall League. Prior to joining the Brewers, Hook was the pitching coach for the Florence Freedom of the independent Frontier League from 2003-07. He also spent three seasons as the pitching coach for Northern Kentucky University from 2000-02. Hook was a pitcher for 11 professional seasons (1989-99), including two years in the Major Leagues with San Francisco from 1995-96. He went 5-2 with a 5.89 ERA in 55 career Major League games. Originally signed as a non-drafted free agent by Cincinnati in 1989, he also pitched in the minor leagues with San Diego, San Francisco, California and Houston. He finished his playing career in the independent Atlantic League. Since 2001, Hook has owned and operated a baseball training center based in Florence, Kentucky, where he resides along with his wife, Toni, and their two sons, Christian and Brennan. © 2015 BILOXI SHUCKERS | www.BILOXISHUCKERS.com PAGE 13 FIRST HALF DAY-BY-DAY DATED/N OPPONENTRESULT REC HOME ROAD POS GA/GB WINNING PITCHER LOSING PITCHER SAVE ATT HOME ATT TIME 4/9 N at PNS W, 4-0 1-0 0-0 1-0 T1 - Brooks Hall (1-0) Robert Stephenson (0-1) 5,038 4/10 N at PNS W, 7-1 2-0 0-0 2-0 T1 - Tyler Wagner (1-0) Daniel Wright (0-1) 5,038 4/11 N at PNS W, 7-2 3-0 0-0 3-0 1 1 GA Brent Suter (1-0) Timothy Adleman (0-1) 5,038 4/12 D at PNS L, 4-0 3-1 0-0 3-1 T1 - Wandy Peralta (1-0) Jorge Lopez (0-1) 4,311 4/13 N at PNS PPD 4/15 N at MOB PPD 4/16 N at MOB L, 4-3 3-2 0-0 3-2 3 1.5 GB Seth Simmons (2-0) Jaye Chapman (0-1) - 4/16 N at MOB L, 2-0 3-3 0-0 3-3 3 2 GB Braden Shipley (1-0) Jacob Barnes (0-1) Enrique Burgos (2) 1,142 4/17 N at MOB W, 4-2 4-3 0-0 4-3 3 1 GB Tyler Wagner (2-0) Yoan Lopez (0-2) Wirfin Obispo (1) 3,853 4/18 N at MOB W, 6-2 5-3 0-0 5-3 T1 - Mike Strong (1-0) Brandon Sinnery (0-1) 1,023 4/19 D at MOB L, 4-0 5-4 0-0 5-4 T2 .5 GB Gabriel Arias (2-0) Jorge Lopez (0-2) Enrique Burgos (3) 1,558 4/20 D vs JAX PPD 4/21 D vs. JAX W, 6-0 6-4 1-0 5-4 T2 .5 GB Brooks Hall (2-0) Trevor Williams (0-1) - - 4/21 N vs. JAX L, 5-2 6-5 1-1 5-4 T2 1 GB Chipper Smith (2-0) Jacob Barnes (0-2) Sean Donatello (3) 1,818 1,818 4/22 D vs. JAX W, 4-1 7-5 2-1 5-4 2 1 GB Tyler Wagner (3-0) Kendrys Flores (1-2) Jaye Chapman (1) 1,993 3,811 4/23 N vs. JAX 4/24 N vs. JAX 4/25 N at PNS 4/26 D at PNS 4/26 D at PNS 4/27 N at PNS 4/28 N at PNS 4/29 N at PNS 4/30 N vs. MOB AVG: 3,081 1,906 APRIL TOTALS 7-5 2-1 5-4 2 1 GB 5/1 N vs. MOB 5/2 N vs. MOB 5/3 D vs. MOB 5/4 D vs. MOB 5/6 N vs. MIS 5/7 N vs. MIS 5/8 N vs. MIS 5/9 N vs. MIS 5/10 D vs. MIS 5/11 N at JXN 5/12 N at JXN 5/13 D at JXN 5/14 N at JXN 5/15 N at JXN 5/16 N vs. JAX 5/17 D vs. JAX 5/18 D vs. JAX 5/18 N vs. JAX 5/19 N vs.JAX 5/21 N vs.BIR 5/22 N vs.BIR 5/23 N vs.BIR 5/24 D vs.BIR 5/25 D vs. BIR 5/27 N at CHA 5/28 N at CHA 5/29 N at CHA 5/30 N at CHA 5/31 D at CHA MAY TOTALS 6/1 N at BIR 6/2 N at BIR 6/3 D at BIR 6/4 N at BIR 6/5 N at BIR 6/6 N vs. MOB 6/7 N vs. MOB 6/8 N vs. MOB 6/9 N vs. MOB 6/10 N vs. MOB 6/11 N at MIS 6/12 N at MIS 6/13 N at MIS 6/14 N at MIS 6/15 N at MIS 6/17 N vs. MTG 6/18 N vs. MTG 6/19 N vs. MTG 6/20 N vs. MTG 6/21 N vs. MTG JUNE TOTALS FIRST-HALF TOTALS 7-5 2-1 5-4 2 1 GB AVG: 3,081 1,906 © 2015 BILOXI SHUCKERS | www.BILOXISHUCKERS.com 2:51 1:55 2:42 2:03 2:05 2:27 2:55 2:28 2:05 1:37 2:18 2:12 2:13 2:13 PAGE 14 SECOND HALF DAY-BY-DAY DATED/N OPPONENTRESULT REC HOME ROAD POS GA/GB WINNING PITCHER LOSING PITCHER SAVE ATT HOME ATT GAME TIME 6/25 N vs. JAX 6/26 N vs. JAX 6/27 N vs. JAX 6/28 D vs. JAX 6/29 D vs. JAX JUNE TOTALS 7/1 N vs. MIS 7/2 N vs. MIS 7/3 N vs. MIS 7/4 N at MTG 7/5 N at MTG 7/6 N at MTG 7/7 N at MTG 7/8 N at MTG 7/9 N at TNS 7/10 N at TNS 7/11 N at TNS 7/12 D at TNS 7/13 N at TNS 7/15 N vs. CHA 7/16 N vs. CHA 7/17 N vs. CHA 7/18 N vs. CHA 7/19 N vs. CHA 7/20 N vs. MOB 7/21 N vs. MOB 7/22 N at PNS 7/23 N at PNS 7/24 N at PNS 7/25 N at PNS 7/26 D at PNS 7/28 N vs. JXN 7/29 N vs. JXN 7/30 N vs. JXN 7/31 N vs. JXN JULY TOTALS 8/1 N vs. JXN 8/2 N at MOB 8/3 N at MOB 8/4 N at MOB 8/5 N at MOB 8/6 N at MOB 8/7 N vs. MIS 8/8 N vs. MIS 8/9 N vs. MIS 8/10 N vs. MIS 8/11 N vs. MIS 8/12 N vs. PNS 8/13 N vs. PNS 8/14 N vs. PNS 8/15 N vs. PNS 8/16 N vs. PNS 8/18 N at JXN 8/19 N at JXN 8/20 N at JXN 8/21 N at JXN 8/22 N at JXN 8/23 N vs. MOB 8/24 N vs. MOB 8/25 N vs. MOB 8/26 N vs. MOB 8/27 N vs. MOB 8/28 N vs. MIS 8/29 N vs. MIS 8/30 N vs. MIS 8/31 N vs. MIS AUGUST TOTALS 9/1 N at MIS 9/3 N vs. TNS 9/4 N vs. TNS 9/5 N vs. TNS 9/6 N vs. TNS 9/7 D vs. TNS AUGUST TOTALS SECOND-HALF TOTALS SEASON TOTALS 7-5 2-1 5-4 2 1 GB AVG: 3,081 1,906 2:13 © 2015 BILOXI SHUCKERS | www.BILOXISHUCKERS.com PAGE 15 TRANSACTIONS No. DateAction Player Pos.
