How to setup student email on iPhone 4/5 or iPad
1. Go to “Settings” and then go to “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”
2. Select “Other” to add an account

3. Go to “Add Mail Account”
4. Type in the following information:
a. Name:
first and last
b. Email:
username @my.lonestar.edu (LSC student email address)
c. Password:
LSC student email password
d. Description:
my.lonestar.edu (default). Users can put a description of their choice.
Press “Next”

5. By default, IMAP will be selected (keep the connection to IMAP).
6. Type in the following Information:
Under Incoming Mail Server
a. Host Name:
outlook.office365.com
b. User Name:
[email protected] (Users will put in their complete student
email address instead of just the username)
c. Password:
student email password
Under Outgoing Mail Server
a. Host Name:
smtp.office365.com
b. User Name:
[email protected] (Users will put in their complete student
email address instead of just the username)
c. Password:
student email password
Press “Next”
