1 Lone Star College – Service Desk How to setup student email on iPhone 4/5 or iPad 1. Go to “Settings” and then go to “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” 2. Select “Other” to add an account 2 Lone Star College – Service Desk 3. Go to “Add Mail Account” 4. Type in the following information: a. Name: first and last b. Email: username @my.lonestar.edu (LSC student email address) c. Password: LSC student email password d. Description: my.lonestar.edu (default). Users can put a description of their choice. Press “Next” 3 Lone Star College – Service Desk 5. By default, IMAP will be selected (keep the connection to IMAP). 6. Type in the following Information: Under Incoming Mail Server a. Host Name: outlook.office365.com b. User Name: [email protected] (Users will put in their complete student email address instead of just the username) c. Password: student email password Under Outgoing Mail Server a. Host Name: smtp.office365.com b. User Name: [email protected] (Users will put in their complete student email address instead of just the username) c.
