Griffithstown Primary School School Council 2016

Griffithstown Primary School
School Council 2016-2017
Year 6
“Hi, my name is Morgan. I was elected councillor by my class after
giving a short speech. I am also Head Boy. I aim to improve the
quality of the school by: getting new or improving old resources;
freshening up the toilets; and making our school a better place to
be.”
“Hello! My name is Eira and I am 11 years old. I was elected by my
class to be part of the school council because I am hard working,
confident and full of great ideas. In school I will: take everyone’s ideas into account; help take care
of the school; and most importantly, make everyone happy!”
Year 5
“Hello, my name is Casey and I’m 9. I am going to help the school by
getting more exciting things at break times and lunch times. I could
help the school get lots of equipment out at lunchtime.”
“Hello, my name is Kieran and I’m 9. I’m going to help the school with
any problems they have. I’m nice, kind and smart. You can talk to me
or any other school councillor about any problems or concerns you
have. I want to help everyone and make sure everyone is happy.”
Year 4
“Hi, my name is Alex and I am 8 years old. I was elected by the
rest of my class and I have a few ideas to improve the school. In
school council we have a lot to do. We’re always busy.”
“Hello, my name is Megan and I am 8 years old. I was elected by
my class mates to help make the school a better place. I have a
few ways to improve the school.”
Year 3
“Hi, I’m Seren and I’m here to tell you a little bit about myself. I’m 6
years old and I was chosen because I’m loving, kind and helpful. I
will do my best for Griffithstown Primary.”
“Hello! My name is Ruby, I am 7 years old. I was elected by my
friends to be on school council because I work hard and I’m not
afraid to speak out. My class mates have asked me questions
about bins, seats and equipment. The school council is going to
sort things out.”
