Dress Down
Thank you for participating in the inaugural “pay up to dress down” casual day, benefitting the
Boys & Girls Club of Fayetteville. The program encourages employee engagement in our
partnership, while promoting teamwork and community involvement.
Getting Started
Select a captain to:
1. Review the materials in this tool kit.
2. Print and display the promotional materials within the office/location.
3. Recruit co‐workers to participate.
4. Distribute recognition stickers to thank individuals who sign up.
5. Facilitate payments back to the Boys & Girls Club of Fayetteville.

Is your office already casual? You can still invite your employees to participate. For
example, participants could wear their favorite team colors, or wear blue in support of the Boys
& Girls Club. Or get even more creative! Potluck day? Cookie exchange? The possibilities are
endless.
Running the Program
•
You can set up donation amounts that make the most sense for your company. Suggested
donation amounts are:
•
$15 donation: Employees can wear jeans the entire week.
•
$3 donation: Employees can wear jeans one day during the week.
•
Set a company participation goal.
•
No later than one week prior to event, contact Autumn Hendrix at 479.442.9242 or
[email protected] for participation stickers and captain’s complimentary
campaign t-shirt.
•
Encourage participants to pay upon signing up.
•
If employees would like a receipt for their donation, please contact the Club.
•
Use the included materials and remind the participants to wear their jeans.
Getting Employees Excited About the Program
•
Notify people at least two weeks in advance and send reminder email the day before.

Include paycheck stuffers in paychecks or employee mailboxes. (Paycheck Stuffers pg. 5)
•
Post recruitment poster in the break room or other public space. (Poster pg.4)
•
Track participants and their donations using the sign-up sheet and goal tracker poster.

•
On the day of, give each participant a recognition sticker to post in their workspace or
wear. This will acknowledge them and help spread the word.
Wrapping up the Program
When you have collected all funds from participants, please complete the donation summary
(pg.8) and send it, along with the total donation amount and your employee sign up sheet to
the Club.
If possible, please send funds to the Boys & Girls Club of Fayetteville within the week following
