LANGUAGE ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

¡Hola! Ni hao! MES Before-School Language
Enrichment Program taught by Cincinnati Spanish Academy
(CSA) is back for the next school year, offering Spanish and Chinese! Students grades 1-4 are invited to
participate. (Note: Kindergarten Spanish program will be rolled out at the start of the school year.)
This program promotes the acquisition of the language in small groups (max 14 per class). Students are
immersed in the language so that they acquire the language similar to their first language. The focus is on
understanding the spoken language, first attempts at speaking, and fun activities in grammar, vocabulary,
and sentence structure. As this is an enrichment program there is no “official” homework or tests.
Spanish: Mondays and Thursdays 8:05-8:50am starting September 18th for 25 weeks (50 lessons total)
Chinese: Mondays 8:05-8:50am starting September 18th for 25 weeks (25 lessons total)
