Arrest
Citation Issued
Report To Follow
This disposition means a person associated with the case has been taken into custody and booked into county jail.
This disposition means that a subject has been issued a citation and released from custody on their promise to
appear in court at a later date.
This disposition means that additional information needs to be compiled for a police report. When appropriate,
the completed report will be submitted to the DA's office and charges may be filed.
Follow up completed
This disposition means that the officer has completed contact and obtained information to add to his report.
CSA Report
This disposition means that this report has been received by records and added for documentation purposes but
does not require law enforcement follow up.
Case Closed
This disposition means that the incident has been investigated to its fullest and no further action is needed.
Referred to Judicial Affairs
Log entry complete
This disposition means that the incident has been referred to the Office of Judicial Affairs and may potentially
result in a Student Conduct Hearing.
This disposition means that an information of important to patrol, but not issued a case number, has been added
to the log.
Item Returned to Owner
This disposition means that a Lost & Found item or evidence has been returned to the rightful owner.
Located
This disposition means that an individual, whether lost, missing, or a person of interest, that police officers were
looking for has been found.
Field Interview
This disposition means that an officer has contacted an individual in the field and released them without incident.
No Crime
This disposition means that, after investigating a situation, the officers have determined that no crime occurred.
No Report
This disposition means that, after investigating the situation, the officers concluded that no report was required.
Negative Service
This disposition means that an officer made an attempt to serve an arrest or a search warrant but were unable to
locate the subject.
Gone on arrival
This disposition means that the subject is no longer in the area and left before the officer's arrival.
Unable to locate
This disposition means that the officers were unable to locate the person they were looking for.
In Service
This disposition means that the officer has completed contact and obtained information to add to his report.

Alarm Malfunction
This disposition means that the officer has completed assisting contact and obtained information to add to his
report.
This disposition means that the officer has completed assisting a person, reporting party, another officer or
person from another agency and is no longer on the call.
This disposition means that an officer has completed his contact with an individual by providing them additional
information and resources.
This disposition means that, after investigating a situation, the officers determined that the incident was falsely
reported.
This disposition means a person has been released to Emergency Medical Services personnel and transported to
the nearest medical facility.
This disposition means that an alarm activation was due to faulty equipment and alarm technicians have been
notified.
Employee error
This disposition means that an alarm activation was the result of an accidental activation by an employee.
False alarm, unknown cause
This disposition means that an alarm was activated but no reason for the activation could be determined.
Unknown cause
This disposition means that an alarm was activated but no reason for the activation could be determined.
Vehicle unoccupied
This disposition means that a vehicle parked in such a manner that seems suspicious is occupied, there are no
violations, no crime has been committed, nor has the vehicle been abandoned.
Verbal Warning
This means that the officers verbally admonished the subject(s) contacted and educated them on
Bicycles(s) impounded
This disposition means that the bicycle whether illegally parked or recovered as a stolen property has been taken
to the Community Service Organization Impound Yard.
Area checks clear
This disposition means that the area was thoroughly checked and there are no threats detected.
Cancelled Event
This disposition means that the Reporting Party called back to say that assistance was no longer needed.
Dispatch Handled
This disposition means that the incident reported did not require law enforcement response.
OIC Advised
This disposition means the Officer in Charge of the shift was made aware of the situation reported to the police
department.
